Hweji's style is casual cute.She likes her clothes to be comfortable but still wants to look good. She wears a lot of bright colors and doesnt own very many dark or plain colored clothes. She loves anything with lace,hearts and sparkles. Most common clothes she has in her closet are colored shirts/dresses,skater skirts,and lace dressed. Hweiji is someone who comes across as being timid and shy when she is really bright and humors. It takes a while to really get to know her because she takes a while to get comfortable around a person. Once she is comfortable around you, you will be surprised and even question is its the same girls as before. Rather than being shy she is just more reserved with strangers. Unfortunately this reserved side also comes out in variety shows and interviews. One of the reasons why she is like this is because she gets really nervous and clamps up when she is put into situations she doesnt feel comfortable in. This is also partially because she is very insecure and second guesses herself a lot. When meeting new people she is constantly worried that they wont like her and will find her annoying, so she just chooses to be quiet. The same things happenes while filming for shows she get really nervous and self conscious that she just ends up not talking. One of the things that she does while filming is reach out to another member with skinship as it helps calm her nerves. Thankfully once she gets on stage this quiet and reserved side goes away, she feels very comfortable on stage doing the thing she loves. Because of her insecurities she also need a lot of reassurance from friends that they like her and dont secretly hate her.
Once Hweji doesn feel more comfortable around you she will show off her humors and dorky side. her favorite type of jokes are puns because they are witty and dumb, she also really likes cheesy pick up lines because she thinks they are cute. When the mood is low with the members she will start doing dumb things like doing kkabb dances and starting dumb raps that always manage to make the members laugh. Because her voice is a bit low for a female one of the hings that she likes to do is aegyo and prefers to talk in an aegyo voice around the members partially because is makes people laugh and because it annoys the members. Hewji also has a tendency to laugh really hard at a joke and to laugh for a really long time, instead of there being clips of her talking in shows they are a ton of her laughing.
Hweji is someone who is very empathetic and good at putting herself in others shoes. If you are sad about anything and start crying she will join in with you and cry buckets of tears. On that note Hweji is a bit of a cry baby and tends to cry a lot mostly when she is frustrated or sad. She is someone who cries when her feelings are even the tiniest bit hurt, even though she cries a lot she tends to hide and keeps her tears to herself in fear of being a burden or even having to talk about her feelings. She is someone who doesnt speak when she is mad or when someone does something to hurt her feelings, she keeps her anger to herself and hates confrontation. She isnt very good at expressing herself at all really unless it has something to do with others but if its about her feelings than she keeps in to herself.
Another habit that hweji has ais she is a bit lazy and a slight slob. She hates cleaning with a passion and will avoid it at all cost. She only cleans up her messes if she is at someone elses house or if she is naggged so much that she does it to get the person nagging her to shut up. She hates exercising because she feels like it is unnecessary as she spends enough time dancing that she doesnt need to exercise and doesnt see the point in it.

Hweji was born and raised in Seoul Korea. Her parents own and successful and famous korean bbq restaurant and they have owned and ran the restaurant since before she was born. Her and her older sister where basically raised in that restaurant. She started working there at the age of ten and continued to work part time at the restaurant until she found out she was making her debut. She never minded working in the restaurant or spending all her time there because she got to spend time with her family and believes that without the restaurant her family wouldnt be as close as they are. Her parents always pursued her and her sister to follow there dream and were constantly telling them that they didnt have to work at the restaurant or inherit it when her parents couldnt run it any more. All of her family members where very encouraging of her chose to follow her dream and become an idol. Even though she was worried about her sisters opinion because her sister is the complete opposite of hweji. She is strong,opinionated, always stands up for her self and for others, was the top of her class and is very hardworking. Hweji though that her sister wouldn't approve of her becoming an idol but her sister said "ifit will help you come out of your shell then I approve"

how did you meet // during his school days Jongsuk and friends would come into her family's barbeque and Hweji would always make sure to be the one who took their orders because she had a crush on him. She didnt know but at that time he was coming in because he had a crush on her. They really got to know each other when her came in late on night and manage to smooth talk (not that it took much) Hweji into hanging out with him when her shift was over.
how you act around each other // They are very lovey dovey around each other and are constantly inatating skinship with eac hother. Jongsuk is very doting on Hweji and takes good care of her.He cleans up all the messes she makes and is always there to catch her tears. Because they have known each other for a while there is no awkwardness between the two and Hweji feels completely comfortable around him. hweji is convinced that she has found the one and is waiting/wishing Jongsuk would just purpose to her already.

how did you meet // He would go into Hweji's family restauarnt whith Jongsuk since the two are best friends. He fell in love with Hweji the second he saw her but he saw the way her and Jongsuk looked at eachother and kneew he didnt have a chance. They became closer when Hweji joined cube entertainment. He tries to push his feelings away but the more he got to know her the more his feelings would grow.

trainee life // In 2008 Hweji Auditioned into cube entertainment and once she entered the company they had her begin training to debut into the new girl group they where creating. She became close to the other girls that where also being trained to be in this group. In 2009 The company told her that she would not be one of the ,members of the new girl group,4minute. Hweji was disappointed that she didnt make it into the group but didnt let it get to her too much because she figured there would be another chance. In late 2009 and early 1010 Hweji became a back up dancer for Hyuna's change promotions, she was frustrated that she was being a back up dancer for her best friends song but chose the see the bright side; she is getting more experience being on stage and she she gets to spend more time with her best friend. Tension between her and the company grew when cube announced to the trainees that they are going to create another girl group but this girl group was going to have a cute and pure image. Hweji after being trained to be in the funky and y four minute as well as being a back up dancer for Hyuna's y solo didnt feel like she was the cute and pure type nor did she want to in a cute and pure group. She was originally going to stay with the company despite all this but while working part time at her familys restaurant she was scouted into sm. Hweji had some trouble fitting in at first as she was intimidated by all the to her trainees and the success of her sunbaes who had already made there debut. Once she became more settled in she was able to grow close to the other trainees.
