Sarang is quite a lovely yet naïve girl and a hypocritical one at that.  "I despise ignorant people"; something that is often said by Sarang herself. However, she can come across as ditzy and air-headed during the daytime. This side of Sarang is what gained her popularity during high school.  She was outgoing and vivacious; she was exactly what everyone thought of as an ideal person. She was attractive, friendly, understanding and very sweet  a/n: the mary sue limit was exceeded. But, I think you get the point, she was perfect...  to complete strangers and a lot people who didn't get to hang around her as often. To that close group of friends that she had,  she was annoying and a bit whiny. Although, there was no doubt that she was kind of good friend and very understanding; she was materialistic, stubborn and complained some of the time about how hard her life was.

Not to mention, she was very secretive and would act strange and panicky as soon as night rolled around. This weirded out her friends and gradually they began to dislike her.  Even if her ex-friends would say that they hated her, they can all agree that most of the time she was cheery, very optimistic and knew how to cheer them up (sometimes ). Whether that be by, showing them the brighter side of things or just being a "debby-downer" with them.  However, Now-a-days, Sarang has changed a bit.  Yes, she is still cheery, friendly and bright but, she now knows how to listen to her own optimism. Sarang used to love telling people how pessimistic they were being while, complaining about her life. So, you can say that,  being with the pack has showed her how to be less hypocritical. On the other side, most people can agree that Sarang is still very pouty and loves anything involving spending loads of cash.  I did say, she hasn't changed that much.

However, there's another side to Sarang.  This side of her can be very suprising to people who know her as this very sweet and charming young girl. Sarang has once said that this side of her is "uncontrollable and can be pretty embarrassing".  Why so?   She becomes very agressive, cold and foul-mouthed around these times.  Whether it be by, snapping at everyone, sweating excessively, intimidating and threatining her friends or giving everyone who crosses her a death glare. However, this side of Sarang isn't always scary and kind of gross; it can be mysterious and a bit y as well. Which everyone knows is something Sarang doesn't do often. This evident by the way she chooses to dress and her lack of happy facial expressions in exchange for sultry ones.

The group members happen to love this side of Sarang because, it brings out a stronger and firece persona to Sarang that gives them a break from the happy-go-lucky and whiny  Sarang. However, I didn't say that they didn't dislike it as well.  Sarang can be hot-headed, short tempered and troublesome around these times and that can get annoying too. How would you feel, if you had someone yelling at you every night because you simply asked how were they?  agitated? right?  "Snappy-Sarang" makes everyone appreciate the girl they met this morning.  So, just remember, don't get so hung up on the girl you saw  because, she could make you wish you never met her.

Sarang was born in New York City, New York  but moved to Seoul when she was around five- years- old. This explains why wasn't able to pick up English as well.  Growing up in Seoul, Sarang lived with her mother because, her parents divorced when she was four.  She also lived with her grandmother who only spoke Korean and was falling ill. While living with her mother, she began to notice her interest in music  around eleven years old when she realized that she loved to play the piano, listen to korean pop music and took a strange liking towards trot music . However, her family noticed it a lot earlier than she did.  Sarang's mother has always said that she was a much more easy-going child to raise during the daytime but, was a handfull at night and it was terrifying. Sarang's fits over bedtime drove her mother & grandmother insane and made her seem like a whole other person. As for school, Sarang made a lot of friends and gained a lot popularity due to her cheery disposition. 

However, she didn't attend many school dances or get-togethers which made her seem mysterious and stirred up a lot "talk". Do I need to mention that these events usually took place during the evening and Sarang was embarrased that her behavior would change drastically and she would thought of differently. Due to this sense of mysteriousness, her popularity went away gradually around junior year. This when Sarang joined Serene.  She wanted a group of friends who she felt wouldn't leave her. The pack provides this sense of friendship and togetherness she always wanted. She enjoys the fact that the pack accepts her for who she is, even if she changes at times.  Lastly,  her family is rather small which is why she considers the pack her family. She has no siblings. Her mother, her aunt and grandfather from her father's side is the only people she is in contact with. Her grandmother passed away last year and she hasn't seen her father since she moved to Seoul.
