Personality: Kei is very silent. He doesn't like to talk much and is often helping people get out of trouble. He's described as very mature for his age. He uses fancy words and when he talks, his voice is barely above a whisper. He doesn't smile and hates aegyo. Also, if people use the word 'oppa' too much, it get's on his nerves since he's already been through baby voices in Japan. He is mostly serious at times but smiles once in a while. Though he has a poker face most of the time. He is often described as having a 'scary' personality. He even scolds people and hit them gently but in a un-playfully way.

A bad thing about Kei is that he is very insecure about himself. He thinks he's too pale or he's too tall. and sometimes, he thinks his eyes are too big. He compliments other people on their looks and is often jealous of them. Another bad thing is that he doesn't remember a lot. He would only remember the chorus's of songs and the little dance moves the groups do. One more bad thing is that he's not a big fan of some k-pop genres. Being born in Japan and growing up to rock music, there is a large language barrier between kpop and him. But he manages to listen to some genres he likes and avoids all the songs he's not very fond of.

On stage,  Kei opens a bit. He dances a bit harder and his voice is louder and stronger. He doesn't really do fanservice except for winking and hates doing aegyo. He's more confident in his singing than his dancing so most of the time he focuses on his voice rather than his moves. He doesn't actually do much except sing. His moves are simple and a bit forced.

Background:
Kei was born in a middle-class Japanese family and was the second-youngest of one older brother and one younger sister. Kei was very different from his family. While they wanted to travel around the world, Kei wanted to stay in his bed. They woke up early while he woke up at 12:00 pm. Despite the differences, his parents and siblings still loved him.

One day, his mom and dad got a divorce.  He really didn't see it coming, seeing that they were both very happy with each other the last night. He didn't want his family to fall apart so he kept it a secret from his friends and neighbors. His dad got remarried to man and Kei had no problem with it. The only problem he had with it was that the kids would often call him 'Momless' and when Mother's Day came around, Kei was all alone in his classroom. He didn't really get offended when his teacher tells the whole class to make sure an assingment was checked by the mother. He did get offended when one of his teachers gave him a F just because he 'had the brain of a homoual'. So he switched schools. And cities.

And now, we come to present-day Kei. The family moved to Korea to start a new life there. They kept it a secret about their two fathers and made sure no one knew about them until they came out of the closet. One of his teachers saw potential in him and sent a recording of his piano playing skills to Jellyfish entertainment. He soon audtitioned the next day.
