Hey guys,

Sorry for being kind of MIA for a while.. I've been super busy, BUT I have been thinking of ideas for future fanfics. LOL. You should really see my notebooks that I use in school, they're FILLED with ideas and future characters and whatnot. ;D

ANYWAYS, there has been this huge plagiarism issues on AFF lately and they've been REALLY making me upset. After seeing this, I've decided to write a rant. So you guys can kind of ignore this or read it. :3 

As we all know, our lovely dbskgirl4ever has been having TONS of plagiarism issues with her stories. (Other people as well.) This makes me SO angry. Stories are a part of an author's imagination; when someone steals them it's like taking away a part of their lives or thoughts. Authors spend HOURS typing up chapters and thinking of new ideas to please readers. If someone just goes ahead and steals all their hard work and puts their name on it, it breaks the author's heart. All that time wasted, thinking and rewriting. Guys, it's really hard to come up with brand new ideas and topics for each and every single chapter, it affects the writer pretty hard when they see their work on other sites or stolen by other people.

When other people don't want their stories on other sites, THEY REALLY MEAN IT. They have a reason for all that, and you should listen to them if you want to continue reading their work. OK, so lots of people have been taking work from other people WITHOUT their permission and posting it on other websites. BUT WAIT. They left credits. IS THAT OKAY? Well, to be honest it really depends on the person. BUT STILL. EVEN IF YOU CREDIT THEM, it's still not nice to do that to an author...Have people ever considered that authors want ALL their stories on ONE site is so they can monitor their readers, read lovely comments, and make friends with subbies? SO PLEASE DON'T DO THAT. It really makes the writer upset. Guys, if you EVER see someone's work copied by other people, PLEASE let the original author know...

Even if you do report the person or tell them off, please do it in a kindly manner. If everyone just bashes the person who stole the stories, it'll just provoke them to do it some more in the future. So just leave a kind, but straight forward message and report the writer. There's no need to start a whole cat fight online. 

I really appreciate AFF trying to find some ways to prevent all this from happening, but we all know it's bound to happen some time... So just keep an eye out and stop plagiarism. That's all I ask. Sorry for this huge post...I felt so angry and upset with the whole situation I thought I should rant about it so I won't go crazy. LOL. So please leave some comments.. I want to read about YOUR thoughts on plagiarism or how crazy my rant is. I'll read every single comment. Thank you so much for reading this whole post.. (if you did.) I'll be back in action soon.
