Personality: She is known for her badass nature. She has this front of she doesn't care what people think and does what she likes. However, she does care what people think, but she doesn't let it get to her. People mistaken it as y but she wants everyone to see know that people will always be judgmental, you just have step on their judgements with your fabulous stilettos. Therefore she is very understanding and open minded which makes her a good listener. She listens to everyone's troubles, concerns, and accomplishments. She knows that the leader position is very stressful, so she will always give the leader a shoulder to cry on. She is very determined and focused with wanting to be successful in her career. She has a hard time believing love exists in the world; but she is reminded by her love of music and the love her father gave her and doesn't completely give up on finding her one and only. She is cautious but isn't afraid to try something new. You could say she is a precarious adventurer. The most important thing about Jarim is that everything she does is geniune. She sings from the bottom of her heart, she practices as if her life depends on it, and she loves her members because they are family. All in one, she is selfless. She will care for others more than herself and some nights that ends up crushing her. But, she knows every day, she will try more and more to smile and be passionate because that was what her father wanted. Also the way she dresses reflects her badass personality, she is quite the fashionista. 

Background: Her childhood memory was something she wish she could forget. Although Jarim is very musically talented her mom always told her otherwise. Her mom once told Jarim that if she ever sang or played an instrument in the house she'd slit her own ears off. When her mom got angry, she'd let her anger out at Jarim; screaming and hitting her.  She was very physically and emotionally abusive towards Jarim. On the other hand her Dad was the complete opposite. How they got together, who knows. When Jarim was 6, her parents finally filed a divorce. He was Jarim's safe haven from hell. Her dad was very kind and very supportive. He loved to listen to Jarim's voice and always let her play on his piano. He even suggested her to become a famous singer. But her mom HATED that she wanted to become an idol. She didn't want her to be successful. On December 25, 2002 her dad died of an unknown death. But before he died, he told Jarim to never lose sight of her dream and that she is the most beautiful when she smiles. And she listened to his words and never gave up her dream. However, more circumstance (abusive relationships, backstabbing friends, abuse) has caused her to lose her smile. (But as she found her place in the new girl group she was able to smile more and more.) So she finally decided to get away from her mother and finally secretly audition. Whenever she debuted and became famous her mom would TOTALLY switch personalities and act as if she was caring and loving towards her. But when she's away from other people she still verbally and sometimes physically abuse Jarim. Jarim acts along when their are people around but she hated this and every time after her mom visits her she gets extremely pissed. Only her members know about her situation with her mom and her family story. She keeps her family history hidden from the press and says that her mom was just against her auditioning. Nothing more, nothing less.

• - Ice Cream ; who can say no to icecream... seriously
• - Hats ; snapbacks, beanies, caps etc
• - Rings ; she likes to stack rings on one finger or have one on multiple fingers
• - Music ; it is her life, if she had to choose favorite genre it would be.. ballad, hip hop, rock/punk
• - Coffee ; she loves black coffee and caramel macchiato. she just loves the smell of coffee

- Insects ; ESPECIALLY SPIDERS. If you spot one, she's already spotted it and has given 10m distance from it. She will say "nope" and walk quicker. 

• - Alone ; she hates being alone. if she is by herself she has headphones on having music accompany her
• - Shallow People ; people with a narrow and shallow perspective pisses her off the most. she just doesn't like to deal with them

Habits:

- When she wears long sleeves he likes to cover her hands with the sleeves

• - Before a concert she's quiet and focused and goes over steps and vocal parts, continuously till they are stage.
• - She always has a caramel macchiato when she's thinking of lyrics for the group's album 
• - When she gets extremly angry her Mokpo accent comes out... like heavily.
• - She'll say she'll want to play a video game but after 30 minutes she gets frustrated and quits (She REALLY at games)
