She is the mother of the group. She likes taking care of people making sure they are alright. She is very mature and Independent and also responsible that's why whenever the others have problems they immedietly ran to her because she can give really good advices and would also make sure to help you in any way she can. She is the perfect description of a lady and many mother would love to have her as a daughter. The only bad thing about her  is because she is the mother - she thinks that she is the leader (Which isn't far from the truth) but because of that, she has the habit of telling her friends off about this and that. She likes telling them what to do and she won't accept any flaw at all. She is also a big perfectionist and won't accept anything but that - which sometimes annoys her friends since she also expects that from them.
Background: Hai Yin was born in Beijing, China but she moved to Korea to study there - she is a transfer student.
Hai Yin wasn't like that before (Except for the perfectionist part) and she was very childish and was happy go lucky - yet all of that changed when her parents and little brother died in a plane crash when they went on a vacation to Hokkaido, Japan. She was supposed to be with at the plane but she decided to go to Hokkaido first - since she couldn't wait. When she found out about accident - and that her family was with it - she blamed herself because she was the one who forced them to go a day earlier than planned. Now becoming an orphan and living off to her Grandfather - who has also troubles of taking care of himself - she decided to change her attitude and was the one who takes care of her Grandfather. Until he died two years later. She was already old enough by that time plus she was also left some amount of money so she decided to live by herself and matured at a younger age. She also didn't allow herself to wallow in self pity so she has never cried for her loss (Or at least let her feelings out properly.)

Relationship:Their relationship is like mother and son. Hai Yin Thinks of Sungjong as her cute and lovable son that needs constant guidance and care. While Sungjong Likes Hai Yin because she is one of the people who believes in his ability to rule over the kingdom. His likeness for her probably is on a different level but Hai Yin has never seen Sungjong as anything but because Hai Yin's first impression of Sungjong was that he was a girl.
