☆ Background: When Kyumi was growing up, she had a lot of friends. She was never the popular one nor the geek that no one wanted to be around, she was in the middle and friends with everyone. Her grades were as good as any average student. Her parents made her study nightly and practice her english speaking often. Kyumi's family lived in Canada for five years, but moved back to Korea when their father had lost his job.
Kyumi's parents were not to fond of the idea of Kyumi becoming an idol when they first her of the news that she wanted to be one but her brother, Joon, was her number 1 supporter. He took her to dance classes and singing classes and he found her a few gigs at cafes and schools. He wanted his sister to reach her dream because in his eyes, she was amazing. Kyumi and her brother were extremely close growing up. They are only 3 years apart. Kyumi's mother and father tried many times to convince the both of them that Kyumi didn't have what it took to become an idol, but they never stopped fighting.
Kyumi was at school one day when she was called out of her class to go home with her brother, who had said that she had an appointment to go to. Kyumi then found out on the ride there that she was being taken to an audition. Joon's friend had called in the favour after seeing Kyumi's performance one night and Joon was taking her there. Kyumi was so neverous but she did her best and her big brother couldn't have been more proud.
Kyumi's trainee life was hard. She wanted her parents support so bad but every chance she got to talk to them, all she could her was what a big disappointment she was to the family and that she needed to come home and do what her parents wanted. Her brother tried to keep her strong and encouraged her every chance he got. Kyumi's fellow trainee's also helped her. She made many friends and got along with many people there. Although to them she appeared to be this beautiful nice girl, on the inside she was nearly at her breaking point.
When it was announced that she was picked for the new girlgroup, Kyumi's dimmed light shinned brighter than ever. It was as if her life had took a huge turn for the best, and it did. Her brother and her celebrated that night.
