Personality. Li Ling is really caring and kind to people around her and she really likes helping people. She makes friends really fast but she trusts people too easily. A lot of people take advantage of that trust and Li Ling ends up hurt. Li Ling may be kind but she is very sarcastic. It comes out so naturally that she doesn't even notice it. It usually comes out when someone uses a sarcastic tone on her or when someone says something bad and she can't stand people saying something bad about other things. She's also very clumsy and is known for breaking a lot of things, though she is trying very hard to make sure to not break anything that gets into her hands. 

Li Ling may be a really happy kid to be around, but she's really shy and she's socially awkward. Before she moved, she had a lot of friends, but when she moved, she didn't know how to speak a new language and most of the kids ignored her. She's also very stubborn. Background. Li Ling was born on April 7, 1996 in Changsha, Hunan, China to a father, a mother, and an older brother. When she was younger, she followed her brother around wherever he went. It was very rare to see Li Ling and her brother not together. They were stuck to each other like glue. Her mother worked as an elementary school teacher and often helped Li Ling with her homework and often gave her advice. Her father works as a doctor He's very busy and not often home a lot. So when he is home, they spend time together as a family. When Li Ling was twelve, her father got a job offer in South Korea that needed a doctor. Her parents talked it over and they decided to move. Li Ling and her brother went to school there, but Li Ling had a hard time adjusting to the new cutlure and new language. So Yi Xing taught her the language, which was really tough for her but she got the basics so she could at least hold a decent conversation with people.
