background:
ah hyun was born in seoul, south korea at may 08, 1993 to a middle class family. her mother work as an pastries chef, her father work as an delivery guy. she also have an two older sibling, the oldest sister kim songdam, follow by second brother kim jonghyun and ah hyun is the last addition member to her family. [edited] in her family, she looks like mother and songdam and the only thing the siblings are alike only their doe eyes. ah hyun enrolled into daewook elementary school in daechi-dong when she is 7. at the age of 10, her mother become the pastry shop owner and her father become the manager of the delivery company, then songdam decided to be a teacher in the kindergarten and jonghyun became an idol. ah hyun is also doing well in school, she came in 2nd in her high school and enrolled into seoul national univerisity, now she is a sophomore in seoul national university majoring in design. ah hyun is also quite a popular girl in her school due to her barbie look, she have a ton of guys going after her but she have no interest in dating after her last relationship months ago.

( blunt and judgemental ) - ah hyun is a normal schoolgirl other than the fact that her older brother is shinee jonghyun, no ones know about the fact. ah hyun behaves normally, judging people and their fashion, and gossiping around with her friends. she is one of the popular student in her school and the most annoying and y schoolgirls who think they are the queen of the school loves to boast about themselves always settled themselves two tables away from ah hyun, the break and lunch time, ah hyun spend her time judging them from head to toe, making faces and blunting out why is there even this type of girls, flinging themselves on guys and their highpitch voice whining when boys dump them. ah hyun love to roll her eyes and murmured cursing to those girls when they block their way or seeing them doing shameless thing.

( friendly and outgoing ) - ah hyun also have a friendly and outgoing personality, other than her sarcastic side, she is actually a outgoing girl who love to make friends. she have a wide social network, and she never fail to get friends accomapany her. she is also the type who get scared walking alone home late at night thats when she get her bestfriend though he is busy to walk her home. her best friend is the best thing she could ever ask, he really protects ah hyun well as well as she is the dongsaeng of his sunbae. 

( troublesome and hopeless ) - well, not hopeless academically but generally, she is really a troublesome and hopeless friend from time to time. she is scared of going home alone at night, afraid of erts, robbers and stuff, so she always have to ask her best friend to accompany her, if her best friend is busy, she will call her other friend. they did find her troublesome at times, the reason why they can take this because she is a true, loyal and caring friend. [edited] well, anothe thing is, she only scared of going anywhere alone at night and carefree in the day. she is also the type of girl who cares for her appearance alot, she find herself digging for clothes, bags and shoes before leaving the house. if she cant find the bag or shoes she wanted, she will change her clothes immediately before leaving.

kim myungsoo L | myungsoo is not a cold hearted person like he is, he is a fun and caring guy. he is the the best friend of ah hyun since childhood years | before the trip. they lived in the same neighbourhood , at the age of 7, ah hyun went sneak out to play alone at the playground and met myungsoo who is also at the playground, both of them became friends immediately | myungsoo have a soft spot for ah hyun, if ah hyun is in trouble or feeling upset, myungsoo will immediately rush to her and once he even abandoned his schedule because ah hyun almost get into a car accident and landed in the hospital. both of them swore to be best friend forever. and now, he is going to abandon his schedule for ah hyun to accompany her for winter break, she said she wants to travel alone to new york city since she badly wants pizza. and myungsoo scared that she will be abducted away and sell to unknown county, he decided to travel with her to new york city. tao is a funny, romantic person. he prefers to be alone whenever he is outside. he loves to joke around to live the mood and he is only serious when he is doing martial arts.

relationship background:
they meet at new york city, tao is travelling alone to new york city because of his stressed schedule in universiry, he cant stand his parents high expectation of him and decided to take a break and leave everything in seoul and flew to new york city. ah hyun have also ditched myungsoo in the hotel on the second day, she sneaked out of the hotel and take a taxi to times square.[edited] the reason, she decided to ditch myungsoo is because of two reason. one is being an idol, following her to times square will surely have alot of problems (like fan surrounding them) and the second is that, she wanted to explore new york city herself, until myungsoo decided to ruin her dreams by following her here. over there, she accidently bump into tao, making both of them fall backwards. tao quickly stood up and help ah hyun and apologise in english. ah hyun then blunt out its okay in korean, and tao realised that she is korean, so he introduced himself. [edited] after both of them introduced themselves, they went on seperate way. at one point, tao was having trouble in speaking english to a salesgirl that he wanted a grey skinny jeans instead of the flare ones. somehow, he have forgotten the correct word for it and try to use hand language for it but the sales girl couldnt understand. ah hyun who just done buying her first pair of heels and walk past the shop, the corner of her eyes caught a person who using sign language. she think for a while and decided to help the person maybe she could no something for it. and she realised the person is tao and tao told her that he have abit of trouble in speaking english. so after getting tao's jeans, tao decided to stick with ah hyun and ah hyun hesitated but agree to it.

relationship: they are not dating currently, but crushing on each other. they both became shy if they suddenly realise that they are doing alot of skinship like drinking on the same cup, holding hands and sitting super close with each other. if not, they will bicker like no tomorrow (after they get to know each other, not right after their meeting) [edited]
