okay. major rant ahead. 

first of all, i completely understand the need to curb plagiarism. i dont understand how people could plagiarize fanfics.. and most of them arent like the really good ones -__-" (dont get your up in a bunch, what is good is subjective). what dyou get out of plagiarism? money? LOL seriously.. popularity? how can you feel the fame if you know you're famous for something you DIDN'T do? i know it doesnt give me satisfaction at all. i know this whole issue is so hot right now. i dont understand. is the generation THAT bad now that people just want to freeload off of others?

ive been a fanfic reader for over 8 years and i do not read the stories on the website itself unless it's so good im so updated with it (which happens really rarely). i always copy the stories and post them on word document (i even have copies of fics from wayyyyy wayyy before in winglin and soompi) and i read them at my leisure and comfort. i upload them on my phone so i can lie down while reading since my back hurts if i sit down for long periods of time and i dont want it to develop as an illness all because of reading fanfics -.- im upset that i cant do this anymore. i dont want to have to start weaning myself from fanfics.
