 - Personal : At first sight, Jooyong is sweet and nice to everyone, a quiet girl who just stands there and smile at everyone. However, the more time you spend with her, Jooyong will start to show her true self. If she likes you, Jooyong will warm up to you and talk a bit more, laughing and joking with you. If she doesn't like her first impression of you, Jooyong won't bother much and might even ignore you. Jooyong is very childish and stubborn and often does things her way until she is very stuck because her way is not working. Then will she reluctantly take in advices. Her expressions are always shown on her face so everyone will know when Jooyong is angry or sad or happy. Jooyong very often just speaks her mind so sometimes, she would say things that will hurt other people's feelings without knowing. Her thinking is also on a different level to other people; she tends to think of weird things and lacks a bit of common sense in life. 

 - With members : Jooyong is the one who always burst people's bubbles. With her members, Jooyong shoot down her members if they claim they are able to do something. She will show a particular liking to one member and especially likes teasing/bullying another. She is definitely not the person to go to if the members are upset though. Although she may seem rude to her members, Jooyong only acts like so because she feels that she's close to them, almost like a family, so they would understand that she doesn't really mean some of her teases. If she doesn't like something someone said or did, Jooyong will not hesitate to hit them in the arm.

 - With family : Jooyong is a daddy's girl. She is cute and adorable in front of her father and the exact opposite when he's gone. With her siblings, Jooyong definitely takes advantage of the fact that she is the maknae of the family and whines and complains a lot. Jooyong always pouts whenever things doesn't go her way and will continue to pout until someone resolves the problems for her.

Background : Jooyong was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to England with her family when she was 2. She lived there until she was 15 before she moved back to Korea with her sister and mother after she passed the audition held in England. When in school in England, Jooyong was in the choir and enjoyed singing a lot so she went on to take singing lessons. In school, she was known by everyone mainly because in front of the teachers, Jooyong tend to act like the model student and she does everything music related; music is a big thing in her school. After she moved back to Korea, Jooyong found it hard to adjust to the culture especially since her Korean wasn't as good (some mispronunciations sometimes but she has been practicing since and is now fluent). She also found it hard to make friends because of her personality so apart from school and training, she spent most of her time with her sister and mother.

How do you get into SM : After she decided to leave JYP, Jooyong found SM holding an audition and decided to try for it. Wanting to achieve her dream, Jooyong gave her best and was accepted into SM.

Training years  : 3 years

debut story (Tell anything about your trainee life): Trainee life for Jooyong in JYP was hard because it was the first time she was away from her family. Jooyong tried to make the best of it but with her broken Korean, she hardly made any friends in JYP. Due to her mild asthma, Jooyong has a little difficulty training with other trainees and they tend to stay away from her because she never looked too friendly.

She left JYP because she felt she didn't belong there. She then auditioned for SM and liked it a lot better there. With her Korean improved, Jooyong was finally able to talk to the other trainees more easily and made a few friends here and there. She also got used to being away from her family although she still called them occasionally. 

While training, she also met Jimin through V and had a tough time deciding whether or not to enter a relationship with him because it might affect her chance to debut but is now secretly dating him.
