Keeping quiet and being shy is never used to describe Hyeri. She is someone that loves to be in a social norm, the one who is in charge of breaking the ice for everybody. She knows how to keep conversation going and she has the special ability to make even strangers become her friends.

She is known to be quick-witted. Don't ever be tricked by the innocent face of hers, she has lots of humorous remark under her sleeves that can surprise many. This is why she is one of the few people that is remembered well by others, she is able to make people laugh and ponder on her jokes almost all the time.

Hyeri doesn't understand the meaning of self-persuade. She has never tried to do things like that even if she feels the need to. If she is frustrated, sad and stressed,she would show it to others. She wants people to take care of her like how she takes care of them. This is also one of the reason why she was called 'Ri-nim' by her friends because she is someone that needs attention most all the time.

Being someone that heeds for attention, she is sensitive towards what other have to say about her. She is easily affected by how other judge or speak ot her. Acting coldly towards her might change her mood from happy to down. This is the reason why sometimes she have inner conflicts with herself, she likes to be with a lot of people but sometimes she is scared that they would hurt her.

Hyeri enjoys romantic comedy movies, taking lots of pictures with her friends and even selcas.

Hyeri uploaded song covers on youtube but she has never reveal herself to anyone as she didn't add any vidoes to any of her uploaded covers.

When she was a child, she modelled for the kids clothing of a popular brand in Japan.

Hyeri is an avid fan of Vixx, she went to their fanmeet, showcase, concert and live music broadcasts. She has been a loyal fan of Vixx since their debut.

Hyeri doesn't like nuts and beans the most. She had once vomited because of their unique taste.

Hyeri has dated an oppa who is 8 years older than her before, they broke up recently as both of them realised that the relationship won't work out.

Hyeri has been and still is supporting an orphanage organisation to help kids who lost their parents and has no one that supports them. Hyeri is a frequent visitor at different orphanage and she would perform for them at times.

Hyeri is good at playing the guitar, she learnt it on her own and currently she is trying to learn how to play the piano.

Hyeri decided to learn chinese because she was attracted to a korean-chinese waiter who works at a chinese restaurant and she wants to be able to converse with him through  a common language that is not exactly used in Korea. (note: the waiter is a 20 year old who moved to korea with her family after living with his mother's relatives at Taiwan since he was born. He is not fluent in Korean)

Hyeri is an adopted child, she was five when she was adopted to the Yoo family. Nobody knows her parents as she was found in a small box near a bus stop at night then was sent to an orphanage. Hyeri is aware that she is adopted and she is thankful towards her adopted parents. The Yoo family raised her well and spoilt her a lot. They provided her with the care that she needs. 

Hyeri has never rebeled against her adopted parents and after they had a baby of their own, they never neglected Hyeri. Hyeri took care of her little brother well. Hyeri started to pick up singing when she was 10 years old. She had always loved to sing but she got serious only when she is 10. She started singing in her room and to test out if she did have talent, she decided to open youtube account at 14 years old and uploaded covers.

When she saw that just singing isn't enough, she learned to play guitar by herself. She bought a guitar with the allowance money that she saved for 6 months and started going online to learn. She only gained recognition for her youtube covers at the age of 16 and her subscribers just keeps on increasing monthly. 

Hyeri discovered about GEOJANG MUSIC CAMP when she was 14 but she had never given it a try because she is scared that she will be the least talented person when she goes there. She read rumours online that GEOJANG MUMSIC CAMP is filled with too many talented people and that those who never gets to enter is usually the untalented ones.

Hyeri nearly sent an application last year but she changed her mind because she wanted to sharpen her skills before applying. Hyeri has received help for her singing from her adopted mother's friend who is a musical actress, she trained a year with the musical actress to improve on her vocal and breathing control. Her friends had told her she improved a lot and this is what led to her confidence to apply this year for GEOJANG MUSIC CAMP.

Adopted Father : Yoo Jang Hyuk : 39 : Aerospace Technician : Warm and Funny : They are able to joke around with each other and people has been saying that Hyeri had her witty behaviour from him. Both of them are able to just talk about anything name it football and fashion, even though they are not interested in the topics, some things just can make them say about random subjects to each other.

Adopted Mother : No Min Hye : 41 : Housewife : Shy and Caring : Hyeri's adopted mhom is a sweet women despite her age. Min Hye is someone that takes care of everything in the house. Hyeri likes to mother in a complimentary way that can make her mum blush. Min Hye has always highlighted Hyeri to be feminine. This influenced Hyeri to wear feminine clothes and bright coloured clothes.

Younger Brother : Yoo Jae Hwan : 14 : Student : Calm and Easy-going : Insult, teease, fight is not foreign for Jae Hwan and Hyeri. However, they never fail to compromise each other at the end of the day. They are close enough to know every little secret about each other.

Bestfriend : Woo Ah Ri : 17 : Student : Bubbly and Loud : They have never excluded each other for any things at all. Whenever there are activities, both of them is always with each other. Ah Ri is someone that Hyeri treasures like her own family.

Close Friend : Kang Min Woo : 18 : Student : Wild and Sporty : If Hyeri is looking for a thrilling activity like pranking the public or trying scary water sports activiteies, she only needs to look for Min Woo and everything is settled. Min Woo is the person that she can blame and she is also willing to take any blame for him because they know their value of friendship for each other can never be affected by anything.

Partner in class : Park Tae Hoon : 17 : Student : Chic : Tae Hoon doesn't talk much and Hyeri talks a lot. Tae Hoon is dark and Hyeri is bright. People thought that by putting them two together as partners in class would be a bad idea because of their distinct personality from each other. However, they were apparently wrong because Tae Hoon and Hyeri has this something that can make them clique despite the differences between each other.

why did you want to attend geojang music camp? / I wanted to be able to improve myself, I heard people who is given the chance to enter the Music Camp is really talented and I wanted to be one of them too. I want to make more musically talented friends and have fun training with them. I like to see myself improve and I I want to try something that can challenge myself. I want to be able to look back at my life and not regret a thing because attending GEOJANG MUSIC CAMP is something that I had added in my wishlist, I don't want to feel empty at the age of 20 because I didn't apply for this Music Camp.

what are your specialites? I'm really good at singing. I was trained to achieve the perfect pitch by my trainer who is a musical actress. 

so what do you plan on doing after camp? / I want to be able to continue singing witha different height. I want to at least release songs for the public to enjoy and reach out to different people with my own music.
