My daughter comes home and tells me that in Spanish class, they had to look for a quote about their topic. I don't know which topic or why. But she says she could only find one and it was offensive. She asked her teacher if she could use the quote. The teacher asked why she wanted to use it if it was offensive. Then, the teacher read it, laughed, and said it was true.

"If you can speak three languages, you are trilingual. If you can speak two languages, you are bilingual. If you only speak one language, you are American."

Yeah, I laughed too. =p
