Subscribers

Okay I hate it when people make their story on AFF private to their subs so they can get more subs. It really destorys what AFF is about, as mentioned in my last blog about comments and . Anyways the reason why I have come to AFF is to express myself, to write all these made up worlds I have made into my head. I am not here for popularity because honestly it's something I will never get. No one in my family knows that I write on this website, I'm ver inclusive with them and I hate them finding out anything about my life on this site (Honestly long story to tell).

So since I don't have a laptop anymore, I've been using my mums and my sisters. So I have been on the website a lpt and usually I would log out but I think I didn't on my sister's laptop. Now she knows my little secret and I have been guessing that she has been reading my fics even though I have logged out of the website. She has been reading it by searching it on google and reading it as an non member. I have realized as everytime I walk past my sister, she is ready one of my fics and quickly closes it down when she knows I'm there. I can see the green layout of this website, I can see the poster of my stories on her screen.

I honestly don't feel comfortable by this, so that is why I put all my stories under private because I don't want my sister reading my fics. It's my personal space and she is invading it. It's like someone reading your diary. Anyways I'm sorry for thoes who are affected by this, but please understand that I to don't like putting my stories on private, and that this is only tempoary. Just until my sister finds a new thing to do on the internet.

and please understand my situation, finding out that my sister is reading my fics did hurt me and did make me feel uncomfrotable. :(((

p.s. Since I'm trying to protect my stories from my sister, should I also private my stories to members only? Or putting on subscribers only is enough?

I'm going to tell you something which hopefully can make you feel better (cuz I can relate!):
My mum found out about my fanfics. Yup. She reads them regularly (Animal Love, that is), and even made an account so she could subscribe. And yes, she comments.
Its awkward and, like you, I don't like it. Its personal territory and yes, people invade it because you know, and they know, that they judge. And judging something you've made is basically judging you for your character. Its a cold, hard fact which is gonna stare at us in the face. And I defiently think that you're doing the right thing, because even if they're doing wrong, you cant let that stop you from doing what you like. Fighting!! ^^ xx

I think members only is the better way ._.
I totally get your point. Because that's what happening with me xD Only, I don't have a sister. It's only because of some 'issues' with my stories (like plagiarism) and because I have upcoming national exams (to prevent people from doing anything to my fictions).

I think you should put on friends only so that when she wants to read your story she has to be your friend that ways you can know if your sister is reading your stories..
