personality: Stephanie is a really caring girl. She cares for everyone even the haters. Because she thinks that it's because of the haters that she became who she is. She is the kind of girl who is awkward with strangers. At the start of knowing her, she's really quiet, and you may think that she's cold-hearted. But no, she's actually really nice. When you get to know her better, prepare to see her craziness and randomness! She's really cheerful and she never stops smiling! And some of her close friends actually think it's creepy. She's really good at studying. She's a top student in her school. It only takes her an hour of studying to get her straight As. Stephanie is pretty popular as the natural face idol. Her no-make-up face is truly stunning and her group members consider her beauty and charms as a natural.  She fangirls alot.  She supported the Exo the most, since her cousin is in the group . Some people call her, ' angel '.

 
But there's also a devil in her. She doesn't like sharing. She'll slap the person's hand when the person tries to take her stuffs.You better NOT want to make her angry. If you do that, the devil in her will go out. She doesn't care who you are, all she wants is revenge. According to her friends, there's a day at  school, in the cafeteria, a guy abruptly pulls her by the arm and kissed her cheeks. Then he said that he didn't do it. Stephanie became angry and dipped her hand in her bowl and took a handful of mashed potatoes. She smeared it all over the guy's face. An guess who the guy is, he's the head Kingka.She knows how to really havefun but she gets jealous easily. She actually has a crush on one of the Exo members, Lu Han. She kept it a secret that no one knows, even her cousin. When Stephanie saw LuHan with another girl/female idol, she became jealous and hates the girl. Yup, she's really selfish. And she's also a bipolar. In the morning you can see her mad and pissed but later in the evening, she's smiling.
 
Stephanie is also really stubborn. She doesn't do what people tells her to. Instead she'll argue with the person until the person agrees with her. If someone in her group made her pissed off, she'll throw some of their stuffs when their sleeping. In her group, she is picked as 'the bully' but she was picked as 'the most cheerful girl' in Love Entertainment. She's also very forgetful, just like Lay.  There's a day when she was cooking, her phone suddenly rang and she went to pick it up. After that, she went to her room, totally forgeting about the food. And guess what, the stove is still open. She almost burned their house down. And she's not the girl who you can share your secrets to, Stephanie is a person who doesn't know how to keep secrets, just like Lay. Which is why her cousin, Chen, calls her 'Lay's twin'.

background: Born on 7th September 1994, Stephanie is the only child of a two old couple. Her father, the founder of a 5-star restaurant in London, is 44.  While her mother, a designer, is 42. 

Since young, Stephanie bore a big hatred for unmanered people and for the people who thinks highly of themselves. Stephanie wanted to be a make-up artist at first, but when she saw singers perform on stage, she changed her dream to being a singer. Stephanie has always showed great interest in music when she was younger, and she always like to sing. At first, her parents took it as a merely childhood dream when she told them that she wanted to be singer. But eventually she started chasing her dreams. From playing piano, guitar to violin.
 
When she first played the piano, she liked it. The peaceful and soulful sound that it produced always relax her mind. But she eventually moved on to the guitar because she got inspired momentarilly by it. Starting, her fingers would often ached because of the hard strings that she has to play with. But as time goes by, she eventually learned how to play the instrument. After she knew hot to play the piano and the guitar, she decided to learn how to play one more instrument, the violin.  At the age of 14, Stephanie joined YouTube. She does vocal covers, dance covers and instruments covers. 
 
When the Woolim staffs saw her covers, she got schooted by Woolim Entertainment on the age of 15, for her visuals and her talents. She eventually signed a contract with them, and trained for 2 years. She was suppossed to debut as a soloist, but it was canceled. Then, she got transferred to Love Entertainment when she was 17, and eventually trained for 2 long years before debuting with Galaxy.

how do you act around people?: At first, she's really shy and quiet. When you ask her questions, she'll just nod, shook her head or shrug her shoulders. But when you get to know her better, she's a different person! Stephanie is very polite with people and she loves little kids.

Stephanie doesn't know why HyoYeon is acting like that. Stephanie began seeing HyoYeon as a rival when HyoYeon purposely stepped on Stephanie's fingers and she couldn't play the guitar and the piano for a month.
