THEY CALL ME MANNEQUIN » ( 1 ) ( 2 ) ( 3 ) Meiyul's wardrobe mostly compromises of clothing that is of a very feminine style, with her favorite piece of clothing being any type of dresses, both long and short in length. Besides this type of attire, Meiyul also owns an abundance of wedges, oxfords, flats and ankle boots in which she wears in accordance with her outfits. Because she is one of those girls who dislike too much exposure of her skin, Meiyul additionally owns numerous coats, cardigans and stockings to reduce this circumstance from occurring. On a daily basis, Meiyul's hair is often just worn out, paired with a minor accessory such as a headband or some clips. When she feels like her hair prevents her from progressing through her day however, she makes no exception in pulling her hair up into a ponytail or a messy bun. In terms of carrying items around, Meiyul furthermore is in possession of many purses and handbags, as well as large wallets whenever she feels unbothered to bring around these accessories.

BACKGROUND » Meiyul was born in the city of Seoul, but had made no significant memories there, moving to the small town of Yaksok at the age of two due to her father being assigned a job at the new high school that had been built in the location. For this reason, Meiyul has practically spent her whole life here, and is one of the few residents who has memorized the town, its people and its various features, making her well-known; especially with the adults and the elderly. Growing up surrounded by the mature atmosphere created by both her parents, her older sister by seven years and her grandmother, Meiyul had managed to adapt a sophisticated behavior from a very young age, enthusiastically willing to correct herself if she believed she wasn't upon the same level as her loved ones and turning to drastic measures to ensure she wasn't being 'left behind', thus shaping her into the individual she currently is.
LIFESTYLE » Meiyul's current living plan is one that is to be by the side of her parents and is supported by extra funding from her older sister who is now in Seoul and her grandmother now living in Myeongdong. The Song family's complex isn't one of an extravagant lifestyle with three bedrooms, a large kitchen, a living room, a small library and two bathrooms all fit into one story, but Meiyul couldn't ask for more, already being appreciative and happy at the fact that she has a place to come home to everyday. In a typical daily situation, though this is always prone to changes, Meiyul attends lectures at the local private institute during the day and at night spends quality time by herself or with her family at home. She considers going to SM17E every few days to be her source of part-time work although she doesn't get paid with money. MOTHER » Yang Haemi // 47 // Wedding Planner // Like mother like daughter, many of Haemi's personality traits have been passed onto her youngest child, emphasizing a major mutual understanding between the two. Meiyul never hesitates to turn to her mother whenever she is in need of guidance, and Haemi always prioritizes her two daughters over her job, making her more like a same-aged best friend rather than a mother. // 5

Her contribution to Meiyul's sense of identity is definitely one that is significant, as she has assisted her parents in nurturing her to become a young lady and has taught her the foundations to starting her hobby in sewing. // 4

CLOSE FRIEND » Jang Doyoon // 20 // Underground Fashion Designer // Because of her strength in the ability to sew, Meiyul occasionally helps Doyoon with stitching together the pieces for his clothing brand SM17E. To repay her for her efforts, Doyoon in return humbly offers for her to take some of the clothing he makes in order for her to wear - indirectly publicizing his designs. His strategy isn't actually applied however, as Meiyul's personal taste in clothing isn't that of the style that Doyoon makes. // 4
FRIEND » Lu Han // 25 // Convenience Store Clerk // Though they aren't particularly that close, they both seem to enjoy each other's company. Luhan affectionately refers to the girl as 'Little Lady' and Meiyul truly admires the male's positive personality and humble service whenever she passes by the convenience store on her weekly routine. // 3
FRIEND » Jeon Jungkook // 18 // Member of Deception // Being one of Mingming's closest friends, the latter of course can't help but involve himself in the intimacy that is evident between Mingming and Meiyul, bestowing him with the assumed title of 'third wheel' in their relationship. Like his fellow member, the latter enjoys playfully provoking Meiyul and the personality she possesses, whilst the girl desires to 'knock some sense' into his narrow mind, often leaving him dazed and confused by the remarks she makes in relation to his antics. Regardless of this type of interaction between the two however, Meiyul truly does care for the boy, feeling the need to direct him to a brighter path for his future by assisting him with his own troubles whenever he requires her 'expertise'. // 3 FRIEND » Phuvakul 'Bambam' Kunpimuk // 18 // Member of Deception // Another one of Mingming's closest friends, Bambam is considered by the latter to have the cutest appearance in the group despite their purpose of causing mayhem. For this reason, Meiyul has a huge soft spot for the boy, and scolds him in a manner less strict in comparison to that of the way she lectures the other two individuals of the gang whenever they cause any wrong doing. Bambam obviously uses this 'kindness' from Meiyul to his advantage in attempting to draw some sort of emotion from Mingming in realizing his feelings for the girl. Despite the unwavering facade his presents to her, the latter actually does enjoy Meiyul's presence and the unexpected moments that spring whenever her and Deception are together, sometimes considering her as their fourth member though she is the total parallel of all of them. // 3
PLOTLINE CONNECTIONS »
YAKSOK'S WINGLESS BUTTERFLY » All due to being connected with Doyoon and his ambitions, Meiyul frequently sees this girl whenever she stops by SM17E to assist with the workload. Though they aren't particularly close, the latter is the most legible person that Meiyul has to calling an actual 'girl friend' as they are able to engage in casual conversation without feeling awkward, even lending each other an ear whenever they personally require to let their problems out. In addition, Meiyul adores her, commending her for her expertise despite having no prior experience. // 3
YAKSOK'S GIRL NEXT DOOR » Meiyul practically considers her to be a 'younger sister', since both her parents and the girl's have retained such a close relationship whilst living in Yaksok. Young Meiyul was there the day the latter had come into the world and also had spent many afternoons after primary and middle school going over to her house to visit the younger for their regular play date. Though this ritual no longer continues, the two still do occasionally keep in touch, with the girl turning to Meiyul whenever she requires an 'older sister' to comfort her. // 3

HOW DID YOU MEET » Alike to that of a typical encounter erupting from the mundane, Meiyul was simply on her way to do the weekly grocery shopping for her parents at the convenience store when she met Mingming, who was causing his usual 'stir' at the location. Taking all the stuff he and his two companions required without any scolding from the clerk who simply let them off as he always did, the three individuals' minds were set on their way out and returning back to their living space. Before they could even exit through the store's sliding doors however, the prim and proper Meiyul who had been watching the incident occurring took it upon herself to enforce righteousness, ( politely ) scolding the males to follow the correct procedure to purchase with her arms spread open to block the door. This measure proved to be one without any effect however, as the males unambiguously escaped the situation without any care or consideration.
INTERACTION »
( Geez, no need to be such a goody two-shoes Meidrool. Just take a chill pill, will you? ) Though he highly despises Meiyul's 'uptight' behavior, Mingming often finds it amusing to mess with the girl's intellect in an attempt to bring out her hidden rebel ( which seldom occurs in spite of his wishes ) and to observe the distinctions in the manner of girls compared to boys, since he has never really had any friends of the other gender. As time elapses however, Mingming's attitude towards Meiyul starts to see some form of change, and her antics result to inflicting a huge impact upon his deficient personality.
( Excuse me. I do as please, thank you for your unneeded concern. Oh, and I humbly reject that offer Mingdung, because as a matter of fact, I don't take drugs. ) Being a rule enforcer of her own kind, Meiyul doesn't ever hesitate to stand up to Mingming and the mischievous antics he performs, constantly correcting him in attempting to persuade him into using a proper approach. Unbeknownst to Meiyul however, is that the boy's behavior is equally influencing her in releasing some of the tedious nature that she seizes.
( Would you care for a cup of tea? Uh, no. Don't you have a can of cola instead? ) Just as the latter suggests, Mingming and Meiyul appear as they both have come from their own separate worlds. Hence, whenever they are together, there is always bound to be some form of disagreement between the two. These disagreements never result into any physical brawls however, but rather end up in the effort to verbally dominate one another.
