How Did You Become a Trainee?:

When she was 10 years old her school was hosting a talent show for a fundraiser. Since her and her older brother would sing all the time around the house, she decided to enter the talent show and sing a song with him. She wasn't really expecting much, she just thought that entering the talent show would be something fun to do with her brother, like a bonding thing. They did alot better than she expected. They didn't win first place (they got second) but RaYeon did catch the eye of a scout for WM ent. After the talent show the scout came up to RaYeon's parents and talked to them. In the car, on their way back home, her parents explained that the person who came and talked to them was a talent scout for an entertainment company and wanted her to become a trainee so that one day she would be part of a group from that company. At first she didn't want to become a trainee for WM because it wasn't the same company that her brother was with but, the more she thought of it the more and more she wanted to do it. She ended up telling her parents to call the scout back and tell them that she was ready to become a trainee for their company. The next month she was a trainee and began her intense training.
