What the ?!

The MBC korean wave festival in Singapore got canceled just a week before the event. I'm lucky that I didn't buy the tickets, (as I didn't want to stand all the way.) But some friends of mine bought and they came from Malaysia and Indonesia. The air tickets cost money so even though if they were refunded the tickets money, their plane tickets would be wasted too. I really don't understand why MBC and Fatfish couldn't have discussed and prepared everything before taking up the job. Cancelling something as big as this will obviously damage the idols', fatfish entertainment and MBC's image.

Some said it was because, quote

"Apparently, cause you know how fan clubs sometimes prepare food to give to these idols, usually everything is accepted, but just recently before the concert they suddenly released a specific list of food gifts accepted and fans raged cause they already paid for lots of things, fan clubs cane together to prepare something and you tell them it isn't accepted? that was one and then obviously the stars need transport right so apparently (dunno how true this is) mbc wanted like sports cars for snsd to come in as emcees (as I said dunno how true) and then they asked for dunno how many cars for the stars to use (which is necessary especially with their gigantic entourage) so fatfish posted to fans to ask for donations to pay for their idols' transport and mbc wasn't happy lah because what does it reflect about mbc and the kstars? that they demand a lot, that they can't furnish themselves, that they expext their fans to pay? so fatfish even had to post a public apology to clarify that mbc had nothing to do with it and that they are cancelling the whole donation thing so what about those people that donated? sigh so more fans were pissed all these things didn't reflect well on the kgroups lah so its not their obligation to get run down like that also, plus they do have their demands and aren't gonna take like that so they pulled out leaving fatfish now to refund the fans but with what money man seriously cause they already paid for the venue and all the other stuff (dressing rooms, simple stuff like hairdryers, mirrors, clothes racks, all these cost money) im surprised they're not bankrupt actually."

It this is true, MBC is being a big real now. This is stupid. I am so mad. Refunding the tickets is not a problem, but what about those fans that travelled down from neighbourhood country? To date, over 1000 tickets were sold. Platinum tickets cost SGD668+ dollars, Hill 1, 2 and 3 were at least 228 and above. I'm surprised fatfish has yet to be bankrupted yet. One friend of mine paid 1.2kSGD just to watch her favourite idols perform. It's not the tickets money that matters, but the disappointment and plane tickets she have to pay. What about my fellow singaporeans who spent months not eating eating their breakfasts and starving through lunch just to save up their money? Stealing from their parents just so they can buy these tickets? It made their relationships with their parents bad and this is what they get? The next time MBC or fatfish are going to host a concert in Singapore, I don't think there would be people who would purchase those tickets anymore. Fans are raging! I doubt that there will be much concerts held in Singapore anymore because idols would think SG are playing a joke on them. I was about to purchase my tickets today too and lucky me, I didn't! I'm just hoping they'll postpone the concert. With an apology letter just like that, everything is fine?

Poor people. I hope that those who purchase would be able to get their full-refund back. While for those who buy from black market, I guess they can only get back the cost price.
