Style: Chunhwa's style portrays her personality. She likes to pick out quite 'out-there' clothes, such as bright, and trendy clothes that will be eye catching. She loves leather, especially blakc leather jackets, and sometimes, black leather trousers. Her shoes are normally chucnky heels or trainers and  her accessories consist of million and one braclets on her wrists, Gold chunky necklaces and alot of hats, (beanies, snapback etc.) Her makeup is simple yet bold. She loves to have thick winged black eyeliner, with bright red lipstick, or she leaves her lips natural. x x x x x

Personality:

Chunhwa's past has outlined her personality. If she were only allowed to use one word to decribe herself, it would be 'independent' From an early age Chunhwa has only been able to rely on herself after her parents gave up on her. She doesn't like relying on others as she deem's it to be a sign of weakeness. She is also quite rebellious. She hates rules and having to abide by them, because as she states it 'Rules are there to be broken'. Whenever she does break rules or goes against the norm, she gets excited, and will more than likely do it again. She can also be quite rude at times. When she was in her teens, she was the rudest person in her school, but when she started to mature and working towards her future and career this bad trait has somewhat died down, as she has managed to surpress it and actually think before she speaks, but when she gets overexcited or angry she sometimes can't control what comes out of . 

Coming from an underground rap background Chunhwa has become very charasmatic. Because she has been performing for 3 years before going into the kpop industry, she has managed to build up the confidence to work the audience when performing. One thing you should avoid when meeting Chunhwa is getting into an argument. She will shut you down within minutes. She has a very sharptongue and witty and can even give Brian Joo a run for his money. So it's best if you don't piss off her or her friends, otherwise your is grass. Chunhwa can be a very awkward person to be around when asking for advice. The worst thing that could happen to the girl is another seeks her for emotional help. She will have no clue on what to do, your better off asking the table. She normally stutters and blabbers trying her best but it probably doesn't make sense. She'll try and shove you onto another person, saying their better for advice. 

Chunhwa is known for ruining her image alot, in public, on tv, on stage, everywhere. She doesn't mind it to tell the truth. She hates the idea of being the perfect idol that has no blemishs on their skin, no derp faced photos quickly snapped from photographers and no wardrobe disasters. Therefore Chunhwa behaves how she wants to behave. At fan signs, or red carpet or even at airports, instead of having her head down, or smiling nicely, she'll pull as weird/grotesque/funny face just because she can. On show's she doesn't mind being gunged or pied in the face or blowing out candles with her nose. She just wants to be herself, make others laugh, and not be fake.

Story of My Life

This is where I come from

Background: 

Growing up in Incheon, Chunhwa had a decent family who loved her, she was well behaved and respectful to her parents. She was from a wealthy family, with her father being in a high up position in a business company. When she went to school, she found out that she had dyslexia, as she found it very hard to read. Being frustrated that she couldn't learn normally and that her sister was a perfect A* student, and got all the praise from her parents, Chunhwa began to rebel. She skipped classes, spoke back to teachers, and fought with her parents. Her parents always compared Chunhwa to her sister, Haejin, saying why can't she be like her. This carried on until she was 16, ignoring her parents, rebelling at school etc. But she finally decided he had enough. She packed her bags one night and just walked out onto the streets.

She literally had no where to go, until she bumped into a group of 3 people, one girls and two boys, who introduced themselves as 'jiggy fellaz' said she could stay with them. They turned out to be a part of an underground rap group, and they said Chunhwa could bunk with them for as long as she needed. After staying with them for a couple of days she attended one of their rap events that they performed at, and after watching they asked her if she wanted them to teach her. Jumping at the chance, Chunhwa wanted to be able to perfrom like them, so she learnt how to rap from LE and dance from the two guys, Youngmin and Hanyoung and soon after she was a part of their group, taking on her new name Katie. She met a lot of people when going to little gigs, and one man who went by the name Jepp Blackman manage to catch her eye. 

After a 3 years with Jiggy Fellaz, Chunhwa and LE decided that they wanted to become bigger, so they both helped each other obtain auditions to various companies. LE managed to get into AB Entertainment whilst chunhwa managed to get into Choeun Entertainment at the age of 19. 
 

Mother:

Bang Chaerin | 55 | Chaerin is quite passive. She obeys and follows orders from her husband and agrees with literally everything he says. This annoys Chunhwa a lot. Chaerin hardly ever gives her own viewpoint and opinion of things as she says her husband is always right. | Alive | Secutary | Chunhwa isn't close to either parent, and after leaving her home at 16, she hasn't had contact with her family. 

Father:

Bang Junho | 59 | Junho is a very demanding, imaptient person, which didn't help Chunhwa especially when she was diagnosed with dyslexia. He see's her as a failure as she couldn't do well at school, and focused and praised Haejin more.  | Alive | Co-Owner of a large Business | After Chunhwa left at 16 she cut off all ties with him. She hates him, that he was never supportive towards her.

Siblings:

Bang Haejin | Older Sister | 25 | Haejin is an intelligent girl. She is the opposite of Chunhwa. She's very reserved and quiet and will do what people say. | Alive | Chunhwa suprisingly gets along with Haejin. They contact each other regularly and meet up. When Haejin got her own apartment, she got one with a spare room so Chunhwa could come and stay over when ever she likes.

LE (Ahn Hyojin) | 21 | Hyojin is a sweet yet sassy girl. Off stage she is polite, respectful and considerate towards both sunbaes and hoobaes, but on stage she becomes the sassy, chic rapper with attitdue. | Idol - EXID | Chunhwa and Hyojin have kept their promise to still keep in touch and will always find time to meet up in their busy schedules. When together they go shopping to try and find the latest fashion. They also tend to just sing and rap together to relive old past times when they were in their old rap group. | These two best friends met way before they entered their respective companies. They met when they formed the underground rap group 'Jiggy Fellaz'. Both of them took up the names of Elly and Katie and formed an unbreakable friendship. After parting and entering the Kpop idol industry, they still promised to keep in touch and meet up.

Moon Jongup | 18 | Jongup is a happy guy. Like all the time. Seriously. He is always smiling. Whenever you look at him he's grinning at you. Theres a general warmth to him that makes anybody like him. He's generally quiet around people, but put him in a room with his friends, he won't shut up.  | Idol - BAP | Chunhwa and Jongup don't see much of each other, being in different companies and that, but when they do Chunhwa normally asks about Yongguk and tries to get daily updates about him. Jongup is the only one who knows that Chunhwa is crushing on Yongguk after he guessed it as she kept on perstering him about his leader.  | They met through Yongguk. Chunhwa already knew Yongguk when they were younger, so he introduced his whole band to LE and Chunhwa when he debuted.

Personality:  Yongguk is seen as the intimidating, badass leader of B.A.P. He gives off an aura of dominance, violence and leadership. First initial impressions of him are 'avoid at all costs' 'Do NOT piss this guy off'. He's the sort of guy that looks like a drugs mafia leader. But you could not be more wrong. He's literally a gentle giant. Although you do have to kind of get rid of the latter images of him to find and see that cute gummy smile and awkward adorable aegyo. He may act cold to begin with but thats just his stage prescence and facade. Once you get to know Yongguk, he's very kind, and warm hearted. He's a sweet charming guy who's protective of s and friends. He worries alot, especially because of the stress of the being a leader but also he worries for the health of his dongsaengs, as he is a very selfless person. 

How they interact: They're quite close. They regard each other as close friends, and trust each other. But seeing as they do not see each other a lot, they don't get to speak or spend time with each other. They respect each other a considerable amount, as they both know that they have a lot of experience behind their belt form both being underground rappers. When they do see each other though Yongguk always has his gummy smile plastered on his face, as Chunhwa seems to melt his icy cold maks away. Chunhwa literally acts like a dork around Yongguk, she tries not to be a around him and actually matures, but she ends up embarassing herself in one way or another.   

How did they meet?: It was at a local night club where both Jiggy Fellaz and Jepp Blackman (yongguk) were performing. This was Chunhwa's first performance with Jiggy Fellaz and Yongguk knew the group so he wondered who the new addition was. After they both performed, Yongguk managed to make his way to the group of 4 where he managed to introduce himself and get to know Chunhwa

Trainee Experience: Chunhwa was independent from a young age, she didnt rely on her parents, and she left home to live with some people she met and befriended. She learnt how to cope so when she became a trainee it was fairly easy. She didn't mind being alone to begin with and she made friends fairly easy. The work load was bigger than what she expected, Her dance was advanced along with her rap because of her previous experience in Jiggy Fellaz but she wanted perfection so she trained day and night to get it perfect. Her singing however was her weakpoint, so every vocal lessons, she struggled. 

Pre-debut experience: The only real experience she got was being in Jiggy Fellaz for 3 years. She already built her confidence up to eprform in fornt of audiences and she had her rap and dance practically nailed. During her trianee years she was sent to oher companies to be back up dancers in video's such as BigBang's fantastic baby.

What's your favourite colour?

➳ My favourite colours change all the time. It normally depends on what i'm feeling on that day. If i'm happy I normally like Yellow or Green,if i'm angry it's normally a darker colour like grey or black. But if I had to pick one colour, it would probably be Red. 

Do you have a role model? If yes, please provide a name.

➳ Yeah I do!The legend G-Dragon. This guy has been a major inspiration and a big influence for me, he's worked from the bottom up and is a phenomanal performer and artist. I'm a hardcore VIP and a big fan.

Do you have a talent which isn't necessarily used for entertainment?

➳ ooh talents? I don't think I have one.. Gimme a sec...*scratches head* i really don't think I have one. *laughs* OH WAIT! I have one! I can blow out 56 candles with one snort of my nose. *Smiles proudly* 

Have you ever owned a pet?

➳ Urrr, My family have a dog and a cat at home, but when I was younger I owned a Hamster, but he died because my sister said Hamsters only live on water. So I didn't feed it..and well.. yeah. 

What type of hairstyle would you like to debut with? (Colour included)

➳ Something funky, bright and eye catching, but doesn't look horrible or tacky. I would like my hair to be red. Or maybe electric blue.. Anything really maybe ombre..*laughs* I cant make up my mind. Something that will make me stand out. Id love to have a thick full fringe and definatley want long hair.

Who is your ideal type?

➳ I don't exactly have a person in mind, but he would have to be taller than me, Polite, respectful towards his family and other people, strong, well, stronger than me which is easy and people may think i'm shallow, but he has to be quite good looking however I do prefer personality to looks.

Between MBLAQ's Lee Joon and Beast's Yoon Doojoon, who would you rather date?

➳ Ahhh, Can I pick both?! Seriously, I like both of them. But if i had to choose just one *sighs* I'd pick Lee Joon. He's so funny and kind. Now my anti-fans have probably increased after this interview gets released, haha.

➳ Donghae. Ive always been a huge fangirl of Donghae, that my sister used to call me a saesang, Which I'm not!!! 

What did you do after hearing that you were going to debut with DiCypher?

➳ First thing I did? I found a chair to sit down before i collapsed. Then I cried. A lot. There was so many emotions running through me like excitement, fear, happiness that I had to cry them out, haha.  I then rang my friend LE and my sister Haejin, who started lauging at me thinking it was a joke but once she found out I was telling the truth she started crying. Yeah.. me and my sister are emotional wrecks.

➳ HAAA nooooo  *laughs* If i haven't got any schedules, or training for a whole day, I tend not to wash. I just wander around the dorm in my undies *smiles*. And as for tidying? My tidying consists of shoving things under my bed, where they can't be seen.
