Style: HaNeul's style depends on her mood. On a sunny day, she would wear cute skirts and girly tops. Whenever she goes out alone or if it's just another random day, she wears her pants and a tee. Personality: As the maknae, HaNeul is expected to be the cute one - constantly bullied by her unnies but the closest and realest friend to all of them. And, she does not disappoint. Bubbly with a slightly independent personality, HaNeul loves making other people smile. Her innocence and friendly atmosphere is pretty much why everyone wants to hang out with her.

HaNeul has a fixed mindset - Life is like a game. Live it. Love it. She has the habit not to take things seriously, often causing trouble not only for her but to everyone around her. Because of being too innocent, HaNeul stirs up trouble without knowing it. She often 'trolls' her unnies and even her managers and escapes from the limelight.

Story of My Life

This is where I come from

Background:

HaNeul's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jung, were on a trip in the States last October 15, 2013 when Mrs. Jung suddenly felt her insides breaking. Carrying a 9 and a half month old child on her stomach, the couple knew it was time. At exactly 1:03 am on October 17, 1996, heavens blessed the Earth with Jung Ha Neul, a healthy and beautiful child. Since the Jung's weren't rich enough to return to Korea after all their money (which was supposed to be used for the trip) were spent on safely delivering HaNeul, they decided to stay in the States for a few more months - which eventually, due to their new jobs, turned to 6 whole years. HaNeul was a bubbly and optimistic child back then. She has a very cute look and everyone loved her. She attended a now defunct academy called University Academy. She had multiple friends because of her outgoing nature and was constantly named as the school's 'Pretty little doll.'

However, on the last day of December, her family was forced to return to Korea after a nationwide tragedy that affected all citizens of Massachusettes. HaNeul was a bit worried to return to Korea. She was part of that place, but she never even knew anything about it. So for 5 years (She was 11 then), she endured the painstakingly different atmosphere of Korea. One day, she was inside her class, waiting for her professor to come when her 'best' friend suddenly came up to her and showed her phone. "Wonder Girls? Who's this?" HaNeul remembered asking. Her innocent nature and too-closed personality hid her behind idollife. Soon, after a few months, HaNeul was addicted to music. K-Pop or not, she knew she was going to be a singer back then. When she had the time to do so, during winter and summer breaks mostly, she auditioned for many labels. First starting in smaller companies then bigger ones. Since she discovered her skill in rapping, she auditioned with mostly 2ne1 or Yoon Mi Rae songs. Her music was recognized in the whole trainee world, she even had the opportunity to become a model for a small magazine! Although was wasn't accepted in any company due to her 'young age', she made a strong pre-debut history with a couple of cameos and modelling. December of 2011 when HaNeul had the biggest break of her life - She was casted in ChoEun Entertainment! After appearing in B1A4's Beautiful Target, she amazed the label when they found her old audition videos with her strong rapping skills and soft, deep and unique voice. Of course she had to accept it! Since then, she trained day and night, practiced how to control and manager her image and become the person she dreamt to be.

Suzy is HaNeul's closest female friend and unnie so she acts like a kid whenever she's around Suzy. HyoJin was amazed when HaNeul came very pretty in the picture, even prettier than her. Ever since, she always asked HaNeul to take pictures with her.

➳ The Wonder Girls! They are so talented and lovely at the same time. They're the first Kpop group I knew and I adored them ever since. My favorite is Yubin-sunbaenim~ She's so lovely and I really respect her rapping skills! She was the reason I tried out for rapping the first place!

➳ I was ecstatic! I called my umma right away and she joined me in jumping around! When my dad came home from work and we told him the big news, he was so overwhelmed he decided to take a break the next day and celebrate. It was a very special moment.
