So, I've been thinking of starting a new major project on here, and I just wanted to tell y'all what I'm thinking so maybe you guys could let me know if it's a good path to follow.

HAMLET.

I was thinking of appropriating Hamlet, but using EXO members as the characters. So far, here's how it'll translate across:

Hamlet - Kai

Horatio - Sehun

Ophelia - Kyungsoo

Queen Gertrude - Suho

King Hamlet (the dead guy) - Lay

King Claudius - Kris

Polonius - Chanyeol

Laertes - Baekhyun

Fortinbras - Luhan

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern - Xiumin and Chen (I know, stereotypical much)

OH and Tao is just some guy that Kris is cheating on Suho with to throw in extra drama ><

Well, this is just a framework, so let me know what y'all think!!! The semester's almost over, and I've been wanting to write for a while. Obviously, some of the character interactions will be a little different; I'm throwing in some retarded love triangles. I'm thinking of changing some of the character relationships too; as they're roughly the same age, there won't be strong familial ties in the Polonius family, rather, Laertes/Baekhyun is in a relationship with Polonius/Chanyeol and carries out murder because of this, as well as Ophelia/Kyungsoo's (his best friend) death.

I'll try keep it as close to the original but there's only so much you can do with gender/s in a fanfic... so... yeah...
