background information:
Kang Dae was born on July 17th, 1994 in Daegu. He moved to Busan when he was just two, which is why he sometimes speaks in a Busan accent instead of a Daegu accent. He is the youngest child and has two older siblings, Myung Dae and Young Hee. He trusts them and values their opinions a lot, which is why he often texts his older sister (because Myung Dae never replies) about his problems and asks for help in solving them.
Growing up, he was very athletic, what with his excellent speed and soccer skills. However, along with his love for sports, he also loved hip hop and rap, often rapping to himself during breaks in the school day or at home. He always knew that when he grew up he wanted to be an athlete or an idol as he never was good in school.
When he turned 18 he and his family moved to Seoul, which is where his love of music, especially rap, grew. Not long after he moved to Seoul, with permission from his parents, he auditioned as a trainee at SM. Even though he had little experience and talent that needed a lot of polishing, he was accepted. However, only after six months, he was kicked out due to circumstances - most of them revolving him and his inability to ever concentrate or stay serious.

personality
When most people think of Go Kang Dae, they think loud and obnoxious. He's a boy of many words - words that won't ever stop coming out of his mouth. Most people who know Kang Dae know not to let him speak, because once he does, he will not shut up. He has no filter when it comes to speaking and will say the most innapropriate things at the most innapropriate of times. He's very erted and says a lot of dirty things, even if he is around other girls or someone he should be respectful towards. Kang Dae often also goes on a lot of tangents, switching from topic to topic randomly and without warning. It takes a special kind of person to be able to keep up with the kid. However, when he is on screen he tries his best to not say as many annoying things, but a lot of the time he'll end up forgetting and convert back to his obnoxious self.
He smiles and laughs too often and tells too many cheesy and corny jokes to ever be taken seriously. He's an outgoing guy, yet one who is pretty immature and acts like a five year old sometimes. He can't hide his emotions worth crap and people can read him like an open book, but that's just mostly due to him voicing aloud whatever he is thinking.
Very dense and even more so gullible, Kang Dae is often confused. Added to the fact that he is easily distracted, Kang Dae is very often left no knowing what's going on and in a daze. He can't concentrate for long periods of time, and will complain that his head hurts even after only a few minutes of being forced to focus. The kid can't help it if he's dumb, and he always said that it took a special kind of stupid to place last every single year in school. It's not enough that he's not that smart, but he has to unfortunately have a big mouth too, which makes him say the weirdest and dumbest things a lot. People around Kang Dae have just learned to ignore him, but that never stopped him from being a pest anyway.
Although he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, he is an extremely competitive person. As someone who hates nothing more than losing (except when it comes to academics), he gets really irritated and angry whenever he isn't the winner. A lot of people may call him unsportsmanlike but he just calls it being dedicated to the game. This part of him is really hard to hide from fans while on screen. He can't help it when he's upset when he loses. This is the only time he'll ever try to avoid a camera (he's a camera hog normally).

Chen // 21 // EXO // although, only two years older than Kang Dae, Chen bossed him around a lot while Kang Dae trained at SM. They became quick friends because of their immaturity towards everything.
