Family Background: Leeyoon was born in farmer family who work in their own farm since his grand father. His father is 2nd generation owner of the biggest fruit farm in north of South Korea and he also make expand his business into local hotel. Leeyoon raise and play in the farm that make him become very strong and healthy. He start interest in music industry when his uncle come to visit him when he was 5. His uncle work for one of the biggest television channel and tell him about music world. After that time, he start to learn and practice about vocal and dance in his town. When he was 10, his father send him to live with his uncle and continue his study in Seoul.

He success at his third tried. He didn't catch trainee eyes that much but after they discovery that he is a part of famous 2PM's cover dance team who win cover dance festival.
