Loyal

I find I'm a very loyal fan. Every group that I started liking, I still like. I may not like 100% of their songs, but I'm not going to turn my back on any of the groups I've grown to love.

No matter what hardships they go through, I want to always be there to support them.

No matter how long they make me wait for a comeback, no matter what words they let slip, no matter what, I want to support them.

Because I know that they are human, just like the rest of us.

They may say something bad, but who hasn't? If they feel sorry for it, then let it go. Don't turn on them for it.

If they are having a hard time and take longer to make a comeback because of it, shouldn't the fans let them know that they are there for them and that they support them? Isn't that the time when they need us the most?

Why do so many fans turn away because a group takes a longer than usual hiatus?? Do they even think about what may be going on? Do they even stop to think maybe a family memeber died or one of them got hurt?

Or that the company isn't treating them well and they're trying to work out legal things so that they can go to a new company so they can comeback happier and stronger?

Why are some fans so... No, the ones that leave during times like that were never fans. I'll never call them "fans". If they truely were, they'd stand by them, support them, and won't cause any unnecessary drama.

If fans were truely fans, things like fan wars wouldn't happen.

You know what I say? To EVERY idol group, solo singer, actor, MC, or otherwise entertainer in EVERY part of the world. Stay strong. Even if you have a ton of people that say they hate you, don't think about them. Think about the ones that love you. Think about the ones that smile at the mention of your name, the ones that are there through thick and thin.

But also remember to be respectful and kind towards those who stand by you. And even towards those who scorn you. Don't be rude, harsh, or otherwise obnoxious. Be grateful that you have this once in a lifetime chance to do something you love to do. Because if you don't love to do it, why are you still doing it?

Kind of went of track a little there, but the important thing is for both the fans and the idols to be loyal. If we turn on them, or they turn on us, what good will come of it? I'm not saying blindly love everything your favorite group comes out with, but don't turn away because of one bad song, or one slip of the tongue, or anything like that.

And when they are going through a hard time, that's when they need you the most. Stand by them. Let them know you're there and that everything will be okay. Stay loyal.

I can't say anything to complete that. I agree with every single line.
That makes me remember from a post on Niel Gaiman's blog that a friend send to me. A fan send a letter to him asking what was his opinion when an author is seeing doing something else than writing the next part of the story that him already promised to the fans. Simplifying what Gaiman said :"He doesn't work for you". I think this can be used on this idol-fan relationship too.
If we like a singer or etc we will be comprehensive and support then no matter what because they give us good moments with their music, movies, series and etc and what I always like to remember: no matter how handsome, beautiful, good singer/actor they are, they are still humans.
So, love and be supportive. Comprehension is the key ;3
