• At the fan signing in Cheonahn, a fan gave Chanyeol a gift, and he thanked her. Then, she said, “Ah, you’re so handsome, it’s blinding me.” He replied, “Yes, it blinds me, too.” She laughed and said, “This is exactly what you said at the Times Square fansigning event too when I said this same compliment!” He laughed awkwardly and tilted his head, asking “Did I really?” The fan nodded and Chanyeol looked a bit embarrassed.

 

• There was one Shinhwa fan who gathered attention for saying, “You can hate on Shinhwa, but don’t hate on me.” Chanyeol got “inspired” by this quote and shared his own rendition in his old Cyworld diary post, “You can hate on SM, but don’t hate on me.” He joked that this was going to be his new motto from now.

 

• A fan handed Chanyeol a post-it with a question at a fansigning to answer. The question was, “Which member is the most handsome? (Excluding yourself.)” And then, she only listed the other members’ names below for him to circle his choice. Chanyeol didn’t hesitate in answering the question. When the fan got home, she found out that Chanyeol had circled the “yourself” in the parentheses as his answer.

[KAISOO’S BIRTHDAY EVENT] TODAY, THE DECORATIVE BALLOONS WERE A BIT DIFFERENT IN THAT WHEN YOU HIT THEM, A SONG STARTS PLAYING. CHANYEOL WAS ESPECIALLY ATTACHED TO THE BALLOONS AND KEPT ON PUNCHING THEM. HE REPEATEDLY SAID THAT HE WAS GOING TO TAKE ALL OF THEM BACK TO THE DORMS. WHEN THE OTHER MEMBERS SUGGESTED THAT THEY AUTOGRAPH THESE SPECIAL BALLOONS TO GIVE AWAY TO A FEW LUCKY FANS, CHANYEOL PUT ON A STRAIGHT FACE AND SAID WITH UTMOST SERIOUSNESS, “NOPE. I’LL BE TAKING THESE WITH ME WHEN I LEAVE!!”
