The Flood in Manila

Volunteers search for victims near the damaged cargo ship Sulpicio Express Siete on Saturday, August 17, a day after it collided with a passenger ferry in Talisay, in the Cebu province of the Philippines. The ferry, which sank, is thought to have been carrying about 700 passengers.

Too much right?

I did even cry when I heard about the Ferry incident.

Because my sister planned to visit our grandparents in Mindanao and take that ship on her way back to Cebu.

Thank God she changed her mind and decided to postpone her visit..

But do you know what breaks my heart most?

reading this quote to lighten up myself.

But did it really?

I think it didn't help much.

My heart is in pain. For some unknown reason.

When I woke up today I asked myself what I want to be first..

"To be a daughter? or  'ate' [older sister] "

While I ask my friends and sisters if they're okay, I forgot to ask Him if He is...

For sure He's not..

Seeing his house crumbled into pieces right before his eyes.

I was really sad about everything right now. Nanghihinayang ako nang sobra sa mga Churches not only because they were all historical sites, but also because they are churches. It is God's Home. After all that Philippines has gone through, I still have this hope that we will be able to stand on our feet again. I know Boholanos and Cebuanos, and even others who are affected, will recover soon. This is really tragic, but we need to pray to God for our safety. Of course, we need to help those people who need our help. In that way, we can at least ease their pain.

Im half Boholana but I live in Cebu. all of my friends are still afraid to sleep at this hour. We are still facing lots of aftershocks. T.T

Yes, the saddest part for me were the Churches. There was this friend who post, "Why Churches when there are clubs and city halls?"
