떡볶이 shards anyone? My first attempt to cook Korean...

insight in my ktichen 5minutes ago:

SO, I just tried making Tteokbuggi for the first time and ...I think it would have turned out perfectly IF (I hote "ifs") it weren´t for the rice cakes that broke a bagillion of times due to the shipping and the travelling :/

But hey! XD

It still tastes good!

and I really wonder how my friends will like it (esp. Baby_Kimchi who is coming over any second)?

uh, I know :( the problem is that the broken ricecakes cook in less than a minute so by the time I thought they were ready they almost dissolved into a mass... idk if i had the wrong brand but I didn´t think it was that spicy...and believe me...my spice tolerance is usually below zero O:<br />

I've tried making it before but I can't for the love of cheese find dried anchovies to add into the broth.<br />
I swear to you they don't exist O___o<br />

and only 고추장?? 0____0 isn't that like super hot??? I always make mine with a little ketchup and sugar and this weird sweet thing similar to honey :L<br />
