So, being apart of AFF... I've read many confessions from 'affconfession' on tumblr. Now, I'm aware every one has their opinion and I wholeheartedly have nothing against them! It's just, it made me realise many things.

01. I see many people complaining about how a variety of men/boys like the main girl character. Yes, it may seem utterly fictional and it rarely happens, but it's fanfiction. It's all out of imagination - since I'm a fellow being with an imagination, I think it's wrong to criticise someone's thinking (though we are human.) Whatever somebody writes about, it's out of their time and liking, so please respect it.

02. Now here we go... A cliché storyline or story in general. I can completely agree with not liking cliché story. Nor do I completely like poorly written stories. But once again, it is out of the authors decision to write like that or have a storyline to be cliché. They may not be the most amazing writer and are always overlooked by other AFF members but, at least they're trying or doing it because it's their interest and it's fun writing stories.

03. Upvotes. Yeah, upvotes and featured stories. Let's keep this nice and short. Yeah, the upvoted stories and featured stories may not be fabulously great and may not be understandable to why it's featured but obviously people did it for a reason, and that's that. Whether we like it or not, that's the way it is, and we can't dwell on it.

04. Respecting idols. There may stories that are vulgar and dilly dally, but it's a fanfic. It's all fake. All made up. I repeat, it is fake and out of imagination. Please do not bash on other authors because of it. They do respect them, it's just the character the idol has perceived to be that type of person in the story. Please do not mistaken unrealistic things to reality.

05. Now, one confession struck me because it's super relatable. "Everybody has their own preferences. And, if you choose to come into the internet, then you have to accept not everybody will do things your way; and that's the same with AFF. So despite what you come across that you doesn't fit your taste, there will be graphic shops, 'you' fics, fact fics, unrealistic fics, competitions, reviews, cliché stories, and people who only have accounts to comment or read. And you know what? Learn to deal with it." This is self-explanatory, so I'm leaving it right here.

I'll leave this here because I could go on forever. I just needed to vent because I feel like AFF should be family.

But right now, it's not like that.

I think we need to realise that we are all different therefore, just with the most utter respect...

Respect each other.
