Please Read~ I Need Oppinions for an Article.

So I am in journalism and I’m currently writing an article about the overall situation in the United States.

I would really appreciate some opinions on the current state of the U.S, especially from people who live in other countries.

Maybe take into consideration the Government shut down, debt, and bickering between republicans and democrats. Also, what do you think about the destruction of the environment, and the obsession with consumerism.

Does the current state of government and the U.S in general change your opinion about America, or dose it stay the same, is it negative or positive?

So, I live in Belgium and we lived without a government for more than 500 days. We survived because our government isn't rooted in our daily lives, but in the US it is. And a government shut down over there will bring the poor in a delicate situation. But no worries, you rich politicians, you're getting paid even when you aren't working.

And the constant bickering between democrats and republicans is just driving me nuts.
