Background : Jung Jooyeon was born on may 7, 1995 in beijing, china and grew up in seoul, south korea. she's a half-chinese since her mom is half-chinese while her dad is pure korean. she can talk in korean because she grew up in seoul, she can talk in mandarin because her parents taught her how and she can talk in english, a bit since she trained herself. jooyeon did not grow up with her parents because her parents are always busy, yet she understand them that's why her parents told her that they are thankful to have her as their daughter and they owe them a lot. ever since jooyeon was a kid, she always dream that someday, she's going to be on stage, the crowd will be screaming and shouting her name while performing and obviously, she wants to be a k-pop idol. her parents know about her dream even though they didn't grew up with her - of course, they know their daughter so well. they know that she wants to be an idol and as i have said, they owe her a lot - that's why when a staff from cube entertainment suggested jooyeon to audition, fortunately, they let her and jooyeon promised that she'll still focus on her studies. But then, she suddenly transferred to SM Entertainment because she really feel so uncomfortable in Cube Entertainment - she's always wondering why her fellow trainees are bullying her.

Personality : jooyeon is a hard-working girl who never gives up on anything. when she wants something, she's going to do her best just to have it. people often thinks that she's an ice princess, but the truth is: she is not. she is lovable, caring and bubbly girl who loves to take selcas when she has time. she's a horrible liar who gets caught easily when her friends or family saw her biting her lower lip. she also loves to surprise people by hugging them and she is known as the 'Skinship Princess' as well. she loves to eat pancakes, pizza and marshmallows. she is also a camera-shy person, but she try not to be one because she knows that the CEO might scold her. she's also a type of person who loves and enjoys performing on stage (it's her dream).

How did you get in the agency? : she actually trained first in cube entertainment. cube notices her talent that's why they suggest her to audition and fortunately, she become a trainee. but then, day by day, her fellow trainees started to bully her and even threaten her because all of the girls are envy on her talents, then cube heard about the bullying thing, they transferred jooyeon to SM Entertainment. And there, she happily trained with her other trainees and she even made new friends. how did cube found out? it's because IU visited cube and she saw jooyeon crying.
How were your trainee days : jooyeon always give her best when it comes to training. as her personality says, she's a hardworking girl and a girl who never gives up on anything until she get what she wants. that's right. she wants to be an idol and she won't give up until she reach her dream. sometimes, she won't get enough sleep because she really enjoys practicing, yet it's tiring. when she's sing, in her room, you'll hear her voice singing. lunch? her lunch is on 6 PM, by the way.
