I got a question for you

Hello ppl,

Please tell me about the whole 'young people (14+) going partying, drinking alcohol, smoking & co' in YOUR country or culture. Because lately I've been questioning some stuff going into that direction and to maybe clear my mind or just because I'm interested, tell me about that in your country.

Please mention your country and age, that would be nice :)

I'm 23 and in america. Not in a big city but big enough and not a famous city but still known. if you are under 18 there is no partying because there is nothing legal for you to do in that scene. So instead they do it in their homes and get drunk or smoke pot. there are a lot of underage kids who smoke cigarettes too. As for the people who are under 21 but above 18 there are some clubs to go to, but still no boos are allowed. only when you hit 21 can you really have fun at night. there is a lot to do if you know how to find it and a lot of crazy people to meet! there are a lot of koreans in my town as well as black people. actually more then white! So there are fun and different things to do and our city is also really safe!! I can walk out at night I only have to dodge the homeless who beg by the hot night spots. I really suggest having parties that meet your age because it makes getting to the legal age more fun!! However, don't not drink at all before 21. Have a little here are there so you know what you are getting in to when you party for real the first time. Otherwise you will fall on your face drunk in some alley and get or mugged! I'm not kidding!

Okay, this is gonna be a good one.
Well, I'm 18 and I live in Scotland, UK, and let me tell you that there is a reason why Scotland is the unhealthiest country in europe. I'm surprised you even put (14+) there because it's horrifying what you see around here, young kids drinking and smoking. The young people around 16 here are out getting 'smashed' every night which is also why the crime rate is so high. Uh, I don't know why you wrote this blog if you want to start partying or whatever, but this is what happens here. I didn't start all of this until last year (never drinking in the streets though, but that's why i hardly went out at night) and this year. There's a history lesson!!
