Is it too much to ask for a decent story here and there? Maybe I'm just looking all in the wrong places, but I feel like writers on here lack originality. It's always the same old plots over and over. I don't even feel like they can make it their own, or somewhat better. Like really... slave, teacher/student romance, girl in an all boy school, maid, sibling of a idol. "It all has be done" -__- umm, no! It hasn't! A little creativity can go a long way. Use thy noggin! ;A;

If you're going to reuse someone's plot or story, at least rewrite it so that it's better than the original .__.

Ohhh another thing that really ticks me off in fanfics is the "____________" and the "(Your name)". Alright, I might be a bit picky there since they want to incorporate "the reader" but is a nickname too hard to do? There are always ways to avoid the whole "name" issue in the story. Nicknames like "princess" "baby girl" "closet "cough not the last one because I use that one ಠ_ಠ

OC characters are in the same boat. Like really, MY NAME ISNT FREAKIN "RACHEL" OR "MIKY-- blah blah blah"! My name is NOT SUZY!!!!!!!!! щ(ﾟДﾟщ)   

With the new stories being created, you'd think that people would actually write stories .__. No, dialogues are not stories. Even if you make them go for chapters to chapters. People like to know details. A description of the setting would be nice, rather than a "Let's go to the park!"

The point of a story is to make the reader feel like they're in it! Or at least relate!!! щ(ﾟДﾟщ) Telling a story would be completely boring the crucial details!

OTL This became a rant... T~T But really, is it too much to ask for proper grammar, originality, details, and character developement? I'm a er for great character developements!

There is a difference between listing a bunch of characters and describing them, and building up their personalities throughout the story. Everytime I find one of these introductions in the foreword, I just exit the story...

Kwangmin Jo: the shy but sensitve twin. (and let's throw in a cliche right there) Who is totally heads over heels for you

Youngmin Jo: the loud and bad boy twin. (continuing the cliche) Likes you, but won't make a move because of his brother

You: (some kind of characteristic that is completely cliche) bubbly, innocent, naive (and let's throw the physical atributes that they like to list) "Pretty" (Like they have to inform me that my character is "pretty" =.=)

There is absolutely no character developement when they list all this crap down!!!. щ(ﾟДﾟщ)  

Okay, last thing. If you're going to write about .__. and or ... research about it? Like not everything revolves about ! Even though I admit, the story is much better when is involved. (time to be hypocritical) But, you don't have to announce it's your first attempt writing . Unless you at it and need reassurance/encouragement from the readers. If you're knowledgable about , then you can totally bull your way through and seem like you know what you're writing about. .__. But there are more words that can be used to substitute the word "". That's what dictionary.com is for! \o/ There are some hella words that can be used instead of " ", just look up the damn words. OTL
