I would prefer it if it were to be one of the taller boys, purely because they're tall but if you think a short member suits tell me?

If you don't think EXO suits, you can choose someone from any other band, I don't mind.

Jongdae would be a good match for Zelo, and I'm totally not saying that because I'm biased towards them and they need to hurry up and have interactions!!!!!!!
I think Chenners would be the mouth piece for the two of them, always yapping away, which is why Jello doesn't talk much. He'd constantly tease Junhong about his height and tell him to grow shorter (because I think Chen would really say something like that). He'd praise Zelo's dancing ability, but tell him that he could do better and challenge him to battle and embarrass himself, just to boost Zelo's ego.
Chen would take a lot of care of Zelo and Zelo would adore Chen and follow him around like a little puppy (or a robot). They're opposites and different heightwise, but I'm the maknae of the family and I'm nearly taller than my dad while my eldest sister is the shortest.

So yeah, that's what I think.
Otherwise, you should look at Sehun. Him and Zelo are both very similar physically - pale skin, tall, handsome (but so is Chen!), etc.
Also, they're both dancing rappers.
