What’s your first impression of SHINee?

So guys! I was taking an afternoon nap, when SHINee…came to my dreams.

Yeah I know it sounds very fangirlsihly lame, but it’s true! And why did I wake up..? well because taemin asked me, (in English), “What was your first impression of SHINee?”

I had an aswer, a very long long loooooong answer, but I didn’t know if ‘SHINee’ would take it as offensive or as a compliment…

When I woke up, I began thinking of the first time I heard SHINee…

In 2010, some date of some lame month, I was watching Animax, my all time fav. Anime spot. And then this lame(or so I thought), serial began airing with Asians hosting it and so, and then the heading said, ‘Live Power Music.’

So I thought, ‘What harm would it be?’ and I thought that they were Japanese people talking and since I was into Jpop (does anime song count as jpop?) I thought it would be good. Who knew that it was going to change my life.

So this group of five guys, with ‘weird’ hairstyles come on the screen and then a foot tapping background music begins.

And then this dino like blonde guy begins, “Baby….blah blah blah…” and so on. I listen to them…and by the time I realize it, I’m copying their step and singing the English words, “Ring Ding Dong~”

When it stopped, I noted their song and name and the next thing I know, I’m spazzing over Choi Minho and Lee Taemin. Then in a few hours, I find their MV.

That was the biggest life changer.

So here goes….My first impression about SHINee, as I watched Ring Ding Dong, went like this:-

Jonghyun:- 0.01-Dino, big nostrils. Is he Chinese?

(Note: I still don’t know that they’re Korean).

Minho- 0.14- oh y !!

0:21- ring ding dong: Hmm…so the guy on the extreen left..maybe he’s the leader, yeah he definitely looks older…(that’s Taemin)

0:25- Still the ring ding dong step with Onew and Key in front- ugh…what the hell, he looks younger than me…and he sings like a kid! (I was talking about Onew)

Key- 0:33-  hmm..not bad..

Jonghyun- 0:36- woah! Seriously! He looks like the physco Chinese kid from The “New Police Story”. Now I really thing they’re Chinese…

Onew- 0:42-  how old is this kid…15 maybe…no at least 17…hmm…?

Taemin- 0:48- Kawaii!!! Wait…what do u say cute in Chinese???? Anyhow, y and cute! I want him…now!

Key- 0:50- ohh…demonlike…I like…

Jjong- 0:56- no way…even he’s not bad….but he still looks physco =______=’

Umm…what’s up with the feathered coat??

At 1:23- I think this is a gay band….(since Onew touches Minho’s chin..or cheek seductibely..)

1:35- WOAH! Water floor dance..i like!

When Taemin’s hair became the mushroom ones- Hey! Where’s the older hot guy??????

And whose is this cutei???

By 1:57- One this I know for sure, these guys like touching and biting and their lips A LOT!

1:59- OH THE KID!!!

2:02- AAAAAAAAHHHH!! Y GU!! Y RAPPER! I LIKE!

2:11- oh..so the older y guy is the mushroom head guy…but I like him…he’s masculine! (and I still think that Onew’s the kid)

Maybe, the blonde guy’s their leader, since he’s singing more…hmm….

2:14- yeah, y move bro…stop molesting your lips!

2:20- AH!!!!!!!!! *faint* rapper guy! I like!!

2:25- oh guy wid girl eyes can rap too?

2:31- 2:35- Oh these guys are fast…hmm…

3:26- yeah mock me..still…I can’t do this step…THIS ONE STEP!

3:55- I get the whole wings…but WHY IS THE Y RAPPER WEARING A LACED FROCK!!!?!????

Yeah so this was my FIRST impression of SHINee…and it wasn’t until I saw the ad on TV which said “Korean Wave” that I found out that Love Power Music features only Kpop singers.

So then, I went all fangirl on SHINee and I found out LOTS about them in two days…yeah from name to country, ethnicity and EVERYTHING…even their ideal types…and I am telling you, they were no where near CHINESE! And I confuse the youngest as the oldest and that Jonghyun does have a habit to molest his lips and he’s a into skinship and and…and so much more!!

The two people I was right about from the beginning were Minho (whom I thot was y) and Key (who I thought had girlish eyes)…otherwise,  Taemin was nowhere near masculine that time and Onew wasn;t the youngest, Jonghyun Was NOT the leader and Minho is the iest Person on this planet!

And whenever I watch Ring Ding Dong’s MV and JoJo’s live performance I really get a weird feeling and I am reminded of one of my first ever fantasy about them and I get the Tingle Tingle (yeah the Eli ones)!

Yeah, so that’s my first impression of SHINee…and that’s how it changed my lifwe…here I am today, blogging to u all..telling you all how I fell in luv wid Kpop…so I salute SHINee!!!
