Personality: Haruna has a quite hyper and admittedly obnoxious personality, because of this, her friends always make her do the bad/dangerous/dirty things. She loves to have a good time and is always laughing and being out going. She doesn't care about what people think about her when she's around them, and is quite fearless, She truly lives life to its fullest, despite the trouble she may get in. Haruna’s easily distracted, and when she gets distracted it’s always some sort of cute quirky thing she’s doing, like laying on the ground and playing like the wall is the floor or just being all over one of her friends.
You wouldn't think it at first, but she actually has a few serious bones in her body. When she feels like she needs to be serious, she usually is and her carefreeness is dropped. She’s very out spoken and doesn’t beat around the bush. She always speaks her mind. Haruna’s very stubborn and doesn’t change her mind easily. Once it’s set in stone in her mind, it’s not going to change, unless it absolutely has to. She's also hot tempered, and once she's started on her ranting, it's hard to get her to calm down from what ever had set her off. She's the type who could spit back a comeback faster than the blink of an eye because she has too much pride to let some one embarrass her like that. She's very sarcastic and blunt; this some times gets her in trouble.
Haruna is known to hold grudges and once you’re on her bad side, it’s actually really hard to get off; if you are on her bad side, then you sure will know by the way she’ll ignore you or just not be nice at all. Even though Haruna has this side to her, she’s mainly happy and out going.
Haruna is actually very emotional and a cry baby at movies. There’s probably not one movie she’s seen in theaters that she hasn’t cried in, but none the less she loves to go see movies in her free time anyways, even if she knows her makeup will be gone by the end.
Background: Haruna was born in Japan to her very ambitious parents. She grew up speaking Japanese and had no knowledge of the Korean language. Her life in Japan was a normal life, she got good grades, her family was very close and every thing was just fine. The summer Hana would be going into high school was the summer that her and her family moved to Korea for her father’s job.
Haruna's third year of high school, her dad appeared in her life less, claiming he was just 'working on his writing' and 'working out at the gym'. It seemed normal to Haruna at first, but as her father went away a lot on weekends, she figured something was up, and quickly found out by herself that her father was cheating on her mother. She was horrified and really didn't know what to do because she didn't want to have to live in a broken family. She told her older sisters and they agreed to let their parents play it out on their own.
As soon as Hana had become legal and finished high school, her parents had divorced and had been waiting for all three of their children to move out the whole time to do so.
Her father ended up marrying the woman he had an affair with, and her mother remarried soon also. Hana is still upset about what had happened and isn't very close with her dad, and is known to avoid that topic.
