Personality : Bohyung is the 'appa' figure of the group. Blessed with amazing vocals and visual, it's really hard to tell that Bohyung actually has a manly side to her. Within her teammates and juniors, Bohyung is really and extremely kind. She's caring and open to thoughts and problems. Altough she's not a perfect girl, Bohyung tries her best to care for them. Bohyung also has the tendency to be very very obessive or possesive. Once she claims something as her own, it's hers. Whenever you try to steal or touch it, she'll go loco and may try to hurt you -- brutally. Bohyung is not so good when it comes to chores except for repairing. Well, she is the father right? She can cook though. But not so good. Simple food like kimchi and english rice will do. Bohyung is also lazy. When she'll be asked to come to practice or to eat, she'll say words along the lines of "Wait, I'm coming!" when in fact she'll spend 10 minutes before she can really go there.
Bohyung's onstage personality is not so different from her offstage one. She's still lazy and caring for her fans. But, she can also be very, very charismatic and eye-catching. Maybe it's because of the clothes her stylist gives her, dark and warlike clothes make her the center of attraction most of the time. Bohyung loves singing, too. Her vocals are the best within the group and she's even ranked high in the best idol vocalists even if she's just a rookie. Bohyung's dancing is also very skilled. Even if she's not as clean and sharp as the main and lead dancers, she's one of the bests in her team when it comes to popping and twerking.

Background : Bohyung grew up in a broken family. Her mother and father broke up even before she was born. She was raised under her father and step mother's side. And unlike those fairytales you read, her family actually loved her the best among her other siblings. When she reached the age of 7, she and her whole family moved to California to get a better and easier life. She was still taught the traits of a Korean though, but her life outside her home influenced her independent personality. When she was 15, she and her family returned to Korea after her father failed a business opurtunity. There was a SM audition back then, she tried it but due to her lack of visuals and poor Korean-like personality, she failed. Fortunately, a LOEN trainee who was supporting her sister who was audition-ing, was mesmirized by her strong and unique voice and asked her to try to join LOEN. Bohyung didn't agree after a month so that she could improve her other skills. She was gladly accepted in LOEN after singing On my own of Les Miserables.
