Finding out on Facebook for the Worst

You know when something happens, people immediately post it on Facebook? What about when you're on the receiving end when you find out the news on Facebook? That happened to me about fifteen minutes ago.

I saw a few post on Facebook saying "R.I.P." "Rest in peace" "You will be missed" and all, the thing was that those posts were about my cousin. I was getting really suspicious and decided to call home. I asked what was going on and she told me that my cousin had passed away this morning.

My mom was afraid of that... me finding out the news on Facebook. They were actually on their way up to where I am to tell me that news.

Life , doesn't it?

The last time I saw my cousin was at my graduation party a few months ago... and now... I won't see him again. Yeah, I'm a little shaken up... I can't imagine how my aunt feels.

So... if I don't post anything in a while, this is why.

Moral of the story: avoid posting serious news on Facebook the first day it happens; it's not the best way to find out things.
