oh no, my brother's bestfriend likes me! o,O

I can't believe this is actually happening. I mean, he's my brother's bestfriend! How can he like ME? Sure we see each other very often when he comes to our house to hang out with my bro, but that's the ONLY time when we actually see each other. Then again, we go to the same university but it's not like we've ever bumped into each other! I'm just finding this absurd. I don't even know him that well.

Then suddenly, today, he asked me out. It has been a long time since someone asked me out. But I kept reminding myself he's my bro's bestfriend. Isn't there like a guy code or something that says it's against the guy code to date your bestfriend's sister?

Ahh Okay I asked some male friends (I have alot) and this was the majority decision: 
1. said "I don't have a little sis but if my friend dated my lil sis i guess it'd be weird." 
2. said (and he actually has a lil sis) "Eh I wouldn't mind since I'd know they don't have bad intentions" 
3. said (no sis) "Go for it. If I had a sis I wouldn't give a ****" 
 
And about the Code they all more or less said that there wasn't such a code.

Actually i personally would find it weird if my friends dated my sibling BUT i think IF you like him (or think that he's not too bad either), maybe you should give him a chance? (:
