Habits (5+):

·         Tilts his head to use his good ear when people are talking to him. This actually ends up making him look really cute. (He doesn’t like when people point it out because the memory is still painful so he calls it a nervous habit instead of telling the truth).

·         On performance days, almost always falls asleep without taking off his makeup.

·         Wears two different colored socks.

·         Every time someone tells him to wake up he sleepily but politely asks for five more minutes and after he wakes up late insists he was never woken.

·         Pretends to act cool in front of the fans but when he knows they are around he gets ridiculously happy like a little kid.

·         Isn’t particularly touchy except when he’s sick and then all he wants is just to cuddle with someone. Usually the first person who comes near him in fact.

·          Has a scar on his forehead from the accident. People liken it to Harry Potter’s but he likes those books so he doesn’t mind.

Trainee History (5 sentences):  He had the skills to make it in auditions and many entertainment companies liked him until they found out he had a minor hearing problem. Because they didn’t understand that it didn’t really interfere with his life he was often cut without ever getting a chance. Once SM saw him perform however, the recognized that he was talented and didn’t seem to be held back in any way so they took him on right away and from then on he had a fairly normal trainee period. He quickly became friends with a lot of dancers who admired his ability to pick up on tricky beats and he was always taking criticism and direction well which pleased the managers.

Family Background:  InGee grew up in a middle class family living in Busan. His mother, Kim HaeYoung (48) is a high school teacher and his father Kim JaeSun (47) the manager of a successful office supply store. His family was tight knit and very close while he grew up and he has many happy memories. His parents were really supportive in both his and his sister’s choices. After the accident, they pushed him to continue living like any other kid his age and taught him that it was no big deal.

His hearing problem doesn’t really affect his everyday life. The only problems he has is sometimes he won’t hear you if you approach him from the wrong side or if its too noisy in a room he has trouble. He prefers to be on the right side of the stage so he can hear the music clearer nut he’s excellent at feeling the music which is why he is such a strong dancer/rapper.

Siblings (idol or fictional): He grew up with an older sister named YeongMin who was six years older than him. She attended a prestigious performing arts school and was a talented pianist. Although she lived away from home she always came to attend InGee’s talent shows and was the one to encourage him to explore his musical passion. When he was ten years old YeongMin was driving InGee home from dance practice and telling him how proud she was of him when a drunk driver crossed into their lane. She spun the wheel to protect her little brother and her side of the car was hit instead. The blow from the accident damaged InGee’s left eardrum, leaving him mostly deaf on that side and YeongMin didn’t survive. For the next six months he didn’t talk but one night he had a dream of his sister telling him to keep going because she believed in him. From then on, he worked really hard to pursue a career as a dancer and rapper and even chose a stage name in her honor.

Rival (idol or fic): He admires others for their talents and thinks that there is a lot to learn from people with better or different skills than his so he’s never really had any serious rivalries. His biggest rival is probably himself because he wants to be the best he can become.
