I'm Christian, unless you're gay

I came across with this post recently, and I felt like I should comment about it...

I'm Christian, unless you're gay

Well this was amazing. I thank the author for it...

As a kid my parents introduced me to the christian world, I loved it. Because everything they would say just felt right, they would say enticing words about love.

One day, my love for the religion crashed, I realized that they didn't fulfill their Lord's words. I asked to myself why? After seeing their loathe to different people, I ran to my room and cried. That day I decided to be an atheist. After sometime I realized that it wasn't God's fault but human's. If anyone's perfect, that would be God. I decided to not naively listen to any religious person interpretation of God's will. I decided to believe in only love despite the person who I'll give it to.

In a school project me and 3 close friends decided to talk about descrimination and having as main topic Homouality. Our teacher was a very religious person he nearly yelled at us saying that being gay is a great sin, that they proved to be unworthy of God's love, that they are.... mistakes.

That was when we, somehow, felt deeply offended a friend of mine couldn't hold it in anymore and asked, "Is love a mistake?". And that was when half of the classroom started bashing the teacher's words. Do you what he was going to do? He was going to take his computer and write a foul for us four. That foul would have ruined our academic years. Just when he was going to do that we got up from our seats and abruptly left the classroom looking for the principal's support. After that we didn't have a foul recorded.

My parents tell me that I'm too innocent and I live in a little pink world, that the real world is not like that, that even if you smile to someone there's no garantee that they will smile back at you.

I shortly answered: "I'll just keep smiling, someday they will smile back."

Thats what I believe.

They also told me that I should be prepared because in the future I will suffer a lot because of bad friendships, racism and descrimination.

Why should I let myself down because of people who don't deserve my friendship?

Why should I be afraid because I'm black? Or asian? or Caucasian? Or any other race? Don't we all have an heart? Fingers? Feet? Head? Blood???

Why should I dress they way people expect me to dress? Why should I act the way people expect me to act?

Why should I hide because I love someone of the same ? IT IS LOVE. No matter how you look at it.

Don't come to me saying craps like God doesn't allow. How do you know?

God is love. Nothing more nothing less than love. God does not live above in heaven, he lives down here in our hearts. Therefore he will never stop loving me because I was born this way or because of my choices.

So today I'm not a religious person, but I'm also not an atheist. I'm just a person who wants to give and receive love.

I decided to live forever in a pink world... rather than a dark one.

Well that's it...
