Reflection

So the other day, I decided to go to my first fanfic I wrote last October.

And holy crap, I was blown away by how TERRIBLE it was.

It had a cliche plot, horrible writing, stupid characters, and was just so..... ew. If this was some fanfic that I happened to see, I would scoff and ridicule it for being one of those ty AFF stories that absolutely in every aspect.

After that, I went and read a few chapters from my latest fanfic. And I was blown away by how much my writing's improved over the course of those months. I didn't think my writing would get better by writing fanfics, due to the fact that there was no one editing/revising it other than myself. But holy guacamole, it happened.

Thanks to writing a lot, I've learned how to develop my characters, plan out my plot and make it interesting, use GOOD DICTION and description, and not make my stories EW. I've also developed my own writing style~

YAY
