knetizens and EXO (SME)

I just read an article on netizenbuzz and one of the comments were "I really don't understand why EXO's popular. 'Growl' is okay but 'Wolf' just sounds like it was written by an idiot. They also have too many members, I have no idea who any of them are. Their skills are about as average as SM gets as well." can i just say how irritated i am by the "SM has no talent" stereotype. I honestly don't care if you don't like they're music, but to say they're not talented is just wrong. Their artists have the most talented people in the idol industry, no doubt.

For vocalists they have Changmin, Jonghyun, Taemin (his technique is one of the best amongst all the SM vocalists), Yesung, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Baekhyun, D.O, Chen, BoA, TTS, Jessica, and Luna. For dancers they have Yunho, Eunhyuk, Shindong (his dancing is underrated), Taemin, Kai, Lay, BoA, Hyoyeon, Luna, Victoria (but rather than hip hop she's better in the conservative type). Okay, so they're a bit weak in the rap department, but honestly that isn't as big for idols as dancing and singing is. Not to mention Henry, Amber, and Lay are all-rounders and can compose.

Then there's another article on netizenbuzz about Ailee, and I see this comment. "I listened to Ailee and then listened to that EXO or EXORCIST band and... such a huge difference. Those EXORCIST kids only make animal noises.. Do they think they're on 'Animal Farm'?" Tbh, i laughed at the EXORCIST thing. But once again, if you don't like the music, i don't really care. Like, at all. But once again with the "only make animal noises" which is obviously referring to "Wolf."

I loved Wolf a lot, actually, bias aside. Hell I like it more than MAMA because of my more urban music tastes. Anyways, the "only make animal noises" is so wrong on so many levels. Wolf actually showed a lot of their singing ability because the song is hard as to sing. And obviously he/she is an unreasonable hater since they judged based on one measly song. At least when I dislike a group it's because none of their songs appeal to me, and I actually listen to other songs on their album to see. For hell's sake, three of them hit a C5 in MAMA, not to mention the choreo was from Lyle Beniga. The choreo isn't going to be easy. Look at all the choreo he did for Taeyang's solos my god. Not to mention What is Love totally was acknowledge by quite a few American artists. Also, you can't call them untalented when all of the main vocalists trained for only one or two years, or even less, and can still perform live with these demanding songs.

You shouldn't listen to netizens as they always hate on idol groups (especially boy ones) and are always trying to make mountains out of mole hills (Just see all the crap that they like to put Infinite through, especially when 99% of it is crap and untrue or taken out of context and warped to make them look bad). Seriously, all they do is try to create hell because they don't have anything better to do with life, like seriously, most knetizens are losers that are addicted to the internet and have bad personalities.

Yeah, SM does have some good singers, but some are quite more talented than others, but overall, they have some good vocals.

For Dancers, you totally forgot Xiumin who is on par with Lay and Kai... Just watch that boy dance and you'll see his skill. Most people talk about Lay and Kai, but Xiumin is always forgotten and it , because it's obvious that Chen, Chanyeol, Suho, etc... go to Xiumin to get help when it comes to dancing (Chen has even said that Xiumin is usually the one that helps him and the others get the dances correctly when they do extra practices to get the dances down). (Sorry, Xiumin's one of my EXO biases and it's sad that a lot of people forget about his skills.)

And Chanyeol and Tao are probably the best rappers that SM has to be honest.

Wolf wasn't the best song out there, but it was interesting and definitely a money maker for SM as many people either liked it, learned to like it, hated it, or was one of those songs that everyone in the world had to listen to at least once to see what the hype was about. And EXO's albums are quite good, even if Wolf wasn't the best song on them.

And if they want to know who's talented, just have them watch Immortal Song or any of their performances. But it's SM and since SM is one of the big/mainstream companies of Korea, it's obvious you are going to get some hipsters that hate them because they're too main stream.
