Omona~

The last few days and weeks have all been very interesting.

Yesterday, Mr Thorn and I had our haircuts together at Tony and Jacky.  He decided to tag me along because he knew I wanted to try out korean-ish hairstyle.  Well, we went there and the hairstylist did...okay..I guess.  Normally my bangs were oriented to the rights side of my face, but he did something and reversed the orientation of my bangs.  It looked great to see something done differently, and at least my short layers were still kept.  I'm also adjusting to Mr Thorn's new look, since he has bangs now.  Hahaha~  After which, we went to the mall to buy glasses to complete the "korean" look...and to buy his gift for Mr Tenured Banker AND Guy #4's birthdays.

He said its his belated birthday gifts so..whatever.  He decided to buy Mr Tenured Banker a pair of board shorts.  It was pastel-colored with all the cool hibiscus designs.  Moving on to Guy #4's gift~~~  Well, he wasn't really able to buy something for him.  LOL.  I always suggest a long-sleeved collared shirt (the type that he always wears at work) at every store we visit, but he would always hold back, being careful on what to buy because he "doesn't want to disappoint  him."  Well, Guy #4 can be really choosy, but when you're on the receiving end, you don't have that luxury...especially if it's from someone special.  Or at least that's what I think.  Every collar, every sleeve, every vest in the store reminds me of him.  Damn, why did I even consent on going with Mr Thorn.  What a weird experience...shopping for a gift for your crush with the person whom your crush has a secret affair with.

That aside, I went out for dinner with my former officemates, Jishubunny included.  We had a humongous pizza and then we waited for some friends to arrive...and then we went to this resort up in the mountains where we could see the whole city lights.  The wind was so cold and relaxing~  But we didn't stay there for long.  We went back to the city and some of us went clubbing.  Since it was 11.11.11, a lot of people showed up to party.  Well, if I only I could dance my heart out that night....

Anyway, the company year-end party is just around the corner. Sadly, it's on a Sunday evening and I have work.  All gays in the office are busy picking out what to wear.  Some cross-dressers showed me sketches of their gowns and I was like...WOAH~!  OMONA~!  Hahaha~  These people don't think twice on spending dough on looking fabulous for a once-a-year event.

Then there was this one gay officemate has this huuuge crush on my friend.  This friend of mine is an office-mate...we started on the same day and is one of the few straight friends I have with whom I do not feel any amount of attraction.  Most people find him attractive though, something I find quite...puzzling.  In fact, all gays go gaga for him.  Anyhow, this gay officemate asked him to be his for the year-end party~! And my friend agreed~! Hahahaha~

"You know Normibells, it has always been a tradition among gays in the company that during the year-end party, we SHOULD have escorts in the event~!  So don't go to the party without an arm candy, OK?"

"Hahhaha~  I can't even attend the party because of  schedule, you know....at least that saves me from the hassle of looking for an ."

"You SHOULD go~!  Find someone who would swap schedules with you even just for that day so you can go.  And then worry about your .  You can worry about your outfit later...anyway the theme is black, which is quite a common theme."

Ugh.  I didn't even felt pressured with JS Prom back when we were in high school.  LOL.

But omona...that gay's got the guts~!  Asking out his crush (who is straight, on top of that...oops. no pun intended XD) for an important event...just...wow...OMONA~!!!!  I would never have that amount of guts.  I guess it's true what they say....fortune favors the brave~
