Personality: "Clara Baek" When people first meet our lady, it is to no surprise that they see a beautiful girl to go along a beautiful name like Clara. Clara Baek, apperance wise, seems like a princess. Her height makes her stand out in the crowd, and anybody would notice her. She is always seen laughing and smiling the brightest. "The Name is JOORI!" Once you start talking to the beautiful lady, get ready for a double take. Joori may be beautiful but this girl says the weirdest things and performs random acts that don't make sense. Though Joori's 4D personality does not make her stupid. She is very much an intelligent girl and can handle almost any problem.

"Jewels..? CJ...? Junko..? What?!" All three names, although different, share Joori's "alter ego". CJ is meant for Joori's English-speaking fans, while Junko is for the Japanese fans, and Jewels for the Korean fans. Now "alter ego" is too strong of word to describe this side of Joori. CJ/Junko/Jewels is the y side of Joori. Normally Joori won't act y, but on stage or in front of the camera she will. This side actually comes naturally to Joori and leaves many of the boys stunned ;)

Family: 
Father | Clarence Cade | 31 | Ex-Professor | A caring and outgoing young man. He tried to see the best in the world. | Joori is named in honor of her father. She never got the chance to know her father because he died before Joori was even born. Joori respects her father and wishes to this day to have him in her life. 
Mother | Baek Sora | 50 | Teacher | A hard-working, caring, but grief-stricken mother. She tries her best to help others. | Joori has all the love and respect to her mother. They are incredibly close since it's always been just the two of them. Without her mother Joori would have given up on life.
Family Background: Joori's parents met on freshman year at a high school in Seattle, Washingtion and became best friends. Though it was obvious they were in love, Joori's parents would not date until they were seniors in college. Her parents would enjoy being together for another 9 long year. Why didn't they get married sooner? Well there is just one reason. Joori's father was diagnosed with stomach cancer on the Joori's parents 3rd year anniversary. Joori's father would continue to fight off the cancer and he did not want to get married until it was gone. At one point, it seem liked Joori's father was going to be okay. So Joori's parents decided to get engaged on their 9th anniversary. All seemed perfect... until the father was then diagnosed with stomach cancer once again. He died only 3 months after that. During that three months, Joori's mother found out she was pregnant. Before the mother could tell her fiancee, he had already passed away. 
     So Joori's mother would have to take care of new baby all by herself. In order to respect Clarence, Joori's mother decided to give birth to Joori in Seattle before moving to Tokyo, Japan. So a 6 month old Joori and her mother traveled to Japan where Joori's extended family lived. Joori's life was  nothing but pretty simple. Because her mother was able to land a teaching job at an exclusive school in Tokyo, Joori was into a world of high-class students. Joori fit in pretty well at her school, since she was so pretty. One of Joori's friends came up to her one day and asked, "Do you want to help out your mom?" Joori was confused at first but then realized that her friend was offering her to star in a movie directed by the friend's father. Joori agreed immediatly, mostly to help out her mom. So when Joori came up on the big screen, buzz came up about the beauty. Since then Joori has been in 4 hit Japanese movies all under the age of 16. All 4 of the movies has been dancing related and produced by Avex Trax.

How were you discovered: Joori attended a strict exclusive school in Tokyo. So in order to relieve the stress, Joori took dance lessons and even joined the dance club in her school. Also, Joori was already popular from starring in 4 Japanese movie. So one day while coming out of the locker rooms in the dance practice room a women dressed in business clothes came up to Joori. The women handed Joori a card and stated, "You caught someone's interest... someone very important. So call if interested." Joori looked at the card... she just got scouted for SM Entertainment. Joori showed her mom the card and neither could not be happier. Even though Joori would have to move to Korea, her mother was happy for her daughter. Joori called the number and next thing she knew, she was a SM trainee.
Trainee Years: 4 years 
Trainee Life: Joori's trainee life had it's up and downs. A lot of people heard about Joori becoming a SM trainee and some were excited while others not so much. Joori did have many friends but she did have some people who distasted her because of her popularity and experience. She is an exceptional dance, as if it came naturally to her. Joori is an pretty good singer and can hold her part in a huge group.
