Background:
Misa had lived in Brazil ever since a very young age. When her father decided to return to his homeland, he brought along his Japanese wife that he was hiding from his family in Brazil who was pregnant with Misaki at the time. Being an Asian in a very european country, she was expected to be smart. It was not just an expectation, she was indeed, very very smart. A genius probably. 

When she was 9 years old, her parents divorced and her mother took her back to Japan where she managed to grab on to her studies very quickly despite the language boundaries. It wasn't a boundary for long as she absorbed the language as fast a sponge absorbs water. She was fluent in just 5 months. Also, she used her mother's family name. Four years later, her mother met with her father and they made amends. The started living together, not married though, and sometime later for economy downfall in Japan, they decided to move to Korea. After being there for a while they decided to just stay there.
