Style: Dayeon is a total modern and fetching girl. Her style can be decribed as appealing and y, adding the fact Dayeon has a pretty good body. However, she has a strong dislike towards high heels- she finds them uncomfy despite being stylish and trendy. She likes to wear contrasting colors and different combinations and never monotonous outfits. She dresses according to her mood, so if she's happy her dresses or shirts will be a brighter color, if shes sad, she'll wear darker, more neutral colors, when she's angry, it's black through and through. She is quite picky and careful about her style- wherever she is, she has to be presentable and good-looking. She loves pink wearings, speacially dresses and floral skirts. Even in Winter, she uses to wear warm but graceful blouses, knits and sweaters. Personality: 

Dayeon's outward shows a lot of her y image and how good is her fashion sense. She can wander the streets by morning just for a hot cofffee, but be dressed as if she was on the way to go on a date. Dayeon has got a confident and trustful personality which can be explained with her way to be and interact with others. Therefore, Dayeon loves taking selcas as her ulzzang friends led her into he photography art world. She can be very sassy and bold either with boys or girls, she has got a free and open mind to everybody. She likes skinship and doesn't even mind if a friend of hers hugs her or does natural skinship with her. Dayeon, being the only daughter, is used to be spoiled by her parents and to have everything she wants-: she is a dependent and sometimes headstrong girl. She's the opposite of SNSD Seohyun. One of her virtues is that she's the genious of Mathematics-: since little, she was always the top student of her class in Kansas, USA. She was used to be praised by her teachers for being quite a good and responsible student. She was also very very competitive. When one of her classmates had better marks than her, she got huffy and crossly like an angry bird: she just couldn't stand that fact. She can be bad at doing other things, but when it comes to Maths, she had to be The Queen.

Futhermore, Dayeon is, in one word, and oddball. She's the kind of girl who would be laughing her head off and rolling on the ground and then the next she would be completely calm and sitting quietly in the corner. She has got a retarded mind in a certain situation which is- a friend of hers tells a joke but Dayeon doesn't understand at first, so after a few minutes have passed she realize the logic of the joke and, just then she laughs really hard. Dayeon is known for her sudden mood swings, she just reacts to situations faster than normal people, which means, she has a quick temper. With her quick temper, Dayeon usually snaps faster than others, however, she's never actually gotten so angry to the point where she would punch somebody. But when she gets angry, you better run for the hills, because that's when Dayeon cannot control her emotions- she's taken by every situation she is in. Dayeon gained her nickname 'Aegy' for her childish habits, such as whining and pouting when she's upset or stomping her foot when she's angry. However in reality Dayeon has a mature heart, it's more that usually she doesn't show it off. She is responsible and has great lidership, but the problem is she's very lazy and it's a mission-almost-impossible to wake her up or to make her clean up/tidy her room. You better don't enter Dayeon's room: it will look like a total mess or something like a-place-where-a-pig-lived. Underneath her girly, y and attactive appearence, there is a girl without frame, I mean, a completely disorganized young girl. 

On the other hand, can say that Dayeon is a chocolate-aholic-girl- she loves chocolate to death. Once, her parents brought her a huge sized chocolate from Switzerland (country origin of chocolate), and within a 2 days she razed the chocolate. She eats a lot, but never gets fat: she's very similar to Sooyoung of SNSD. Therefore, Dayeon is also known as the Crazy Shikshin among the SM trainees, adding the fact she likes junk food. In terms of socialization, she's a royal and warm friend. Sometimes people who don't know her can misunderstand because of her confident and competitive image, but in her inner side she can be mature and have a kind heart to her friends and colleagues. Her great charm is to be The Dayeon she is indeed: she herself shows how dynamic, lively and nice she is. Like it's said, Dayeon may be responsible and have a good lidership, but that does not last long. She returns to the quick tempered and moody young girl.

♧ Back in Time

Life Background: Ahn Dayeon was born on December 24, 1994- coincidentally on Christmas Eve. There was finally a new member in the Ahn's family. Her parents were so happy to see a pretty baby girl in front of their eyes- they were not lonely anymore. They had Dayeon. As she was the only daughter she used to be spoiled and dependent to her parents and having everything she wanted. She only spoke English at home, which explains she rarely talked Korean and one of the things she knew was saying "Daebak". Since little, she attended American schools and had American friends. However, she was teased for having somewhat an asian face. That's when Day started to have suden mood changes and became quick tempered. Because of this, Day stuggled and studied much enough to prove other kids she was a great student and also to impress the teachers. This way, Day became the Maths Genious, only at the age of 8. Thenceforth this competitive spirit grew within her and even nowadays she keeps it. But returning to the story, Destiny who was the top student and had great skills in ballet, was not teased anymore by her colleagues. Dayeon's desired future was becoming an architect like her father: he influenced her a lot, because he always showed and discussed ideas with her little daughter and Dayeon loved them. He had even promised he was going to build her dream house. Meanwhile, she practised ballet and her passion for the dance was growing more and more despite it was well hidden in her heart- she didn't want to show her parents she loved that much dance, because she thought they expected Dayeon to be a scientist or a phisicist.

However, according to the famous quote "Everything happens for a reason", for Dayeon it really happened. Once, Destiny (she was 14) and her friends were having a walkway at a huge avenue and decided to play a game. As we know, our competitive Dayeon was quite sure she would win, but surprisingly she didn't win. Thefore, she was the one who was punished. The punishment was dancing for 5 minutes in the middle of that huge avenue to kpop songs. Dayeon was embarrassed but she still wanted to prove she was not afraid at all. So, she walked into the middle of it and the music was played. It was luck or fate, meanwhile there was walking around some 3 guys of SM, who were casting directors and saw Dayeon at close distance. She was dancing to Shinee's "Replay", Wonder Girls' "Nobody" and DBSK's "Mirotic". The directors were impressed with Dayeon's performance and the courage she had to do that. So after the 5 minutes of punishment, they went to talk with her. Firstly, they praised her and then asked if she had interest in becoming a k-pop idol. Her instant reaction was quite good but at the same time confused. Nonetheless, in the bottom of her heart she had loved to dance for those 5 minutes as she was really thankfull . Then, she returned home and told her parents what had happened. But unlike Dayeon's thoughts, they were really happy for her and supported whatever her decision could be. This way, she scouted by SM and started a new journey of her life. Concluding her life boils down to those 5 spontaneous minutes.

Ahn Jaejin | 48 | father | Architect | alive | He's a dreamer and a very intelligent man | Mr. Ahn is a sucessful architect both in America and in Korea. He's quite a dreamer and is really creative. Dayeon used to say since she was little that she wished her father could build her dream house for her and her future hubby. She always loved her father's projects and had a strong bond with a certain house her father set up O. Dayeon respects her father and sending him postcards is just not a must, but a habbit of hers. 

Naomi Oh (Oh Nayoung) | 40 | Coffee Shop Owner | alive | She's protective and a hard-working woman | Mrs. Naomi is as well a well-known professional coffee maker. She owns 3 huge coffee shops in Kansas and she's also the boss at a korean coffee shop named "Oh's Coffee Shop". Her relation with her daughter is very close and intimate. Surely she inherited Dayeon her Coffee Design skills. Dayeon's mother is really hard-working and is someone who struggles a lot to achieve her dream or goals in life. They haven't got such a close relation, because Mrs. Oh is quiet and serene and doesn't talk that much, but still in the bottom of her heart, Dayeon is the most important person to her. She thinks about Dayeon a lot and everytime she passes by a chocolate shop, a pink stuffed store, a ballet concert, a fashion parade, among many others, she reminds of her daughter. As people say "They are far from each other, but at the same time very close".

Trainee Background: In the following to what's written in the life background, it was not that easy and evident her trainee life. She had many problems with the communication, once she only spoke English. Fortunately, there was someone who gave her warm welcomings: this was Tiffany from SNSD. She knew very well how Dayeon was feeling, because she also passed by the same problem. When Tiffany had time, she taught Dayeon Korean and also there was times they lunched together. To thank Tiffany for being a good sunbae-unnie-friend, Dayeon gave her some dance tips and also showed her rap skills. Thenceforth, little by little, she started to communicate with other trainees and create few bonds of friendship. Dayeon also admitted she was not a good singer and that she needed to improve her vocals. Even though Tiffany put great efforts in teaching her, there was not a big development, but still was much better than her initial voice. That's when Dayeon realized how good is the heart of someone who has got brothers and have faith in God. Thanks to Tiffany, she could overcome many difficulties and become a strong and lively trainee in SM.

Personality: Do Kyungsoo or best known as D.O, is often called Umma D.O or Pororo. Kyung in korean means "Longitude" and Soo means "Luck". With his 173cm, he is a shy and very cute guy. His facial features lead people think that he seems younger than he is and because of his big eyes, he's usually called The pop out eyes; but, his attracting thick lips show that he can also be enticing ;) D.O may look somehow cold and a "man of few words" outwardly, but when you get to know him better, you'll see how kind and cheerful he is- of course he's at the same time very sheepish. D.O's great charm may be his stunning and y voice- when you listen to his voice, you just melt in warmth and just adding the fact he has got great English pronunciation. Besides being a great singer, he is also a very clean and neat person. He has everything organized by colors, types and brands, and his room is always a nice and welcoming place to be. D.O is known for being EXO's umma because he's in charge of cooking most of the time. After all, D.O is someone who's kind and takes good care of his hyungs and fellows. Some curiosities: D.O was an ulzzang back to his childhood days; D.O's cellphone is an Apple iPhone 5 and D.O's elder brother name is Do Seungsoo.

Describe your story: It was 6am and the sun was not yet born. The weather was a little cold and wind blew. Dayeon arrived to the huge trainees' practise room and, as was her habit, she took a coffee (cappuccino) at the SM bar and went for a sidewalk. She walked towards a playground near the SM bulding for some relax but no one was there. Dayeon sat on a swing and drank the hot coffee while singing to EXO's "Don't go". After a few minutes, someone arrived and took a seat in the next swing. "AH, seonbaenim, you scared me!" Dayeon shouted. "Sorry, if I startled you." D.O kindly answered- "You sing well" he praised. "Don't make me feel bad, please..." she replied. "No, I'm serious. Trust me." D.O smiled. "Thanks for supporting me, seonbae." she said. "But where's the confident Dayeon I heard of?" D.O asked."You know something? I'm a great dancer and above all, pretty good in Maths." she said proudly. "Ohh, here she is. I'm the best cooker of SM, if you want to know." he praised himself as well."I bet I could win you in a cooking competition!" she said with much certainty. D.O just smiled to Dayeon's moody and confident character. Then, he tried to swing a little, but he couldn't do it. Dayeon who was viewing the embarrassing situation said:" Let me push the swing for you." D.O nodded and Dayeon started to push the swing little by little. "Hey, don't touch my , you byuntae." he warned. "What? And look to D.O seonbae who can't ride a swing." Dayeon joked and not being able to resist, she burst into laughter. "Hahaha, oh seonbae, I know I shouldn't laugh but this is..." she was going to say. "It's okay." D.O smiled of embarrassment.

In that very moment, Dayeon was getting cold because of the constant wind. D.O looked at her and borrowed Dayeon his jacket. "Gomawoyo, seobaenim." she shyly answered. "Just call me D.O oppa, I feel burdensome with the "seonbaenim" word. The time was flying and the sun was rising. Dayeon notified him, they were already late to the trainings. So D.O and Dayeon left the playground and walked into the SM building. 

"Call me if you need my help, Dayeon-a." he gently said. "Thanks for everything, D.O oppa!" Dayeon waved to him with a cute smile. Dayeon was feeling quite strange with her heart pounding faster. Same happened with D.O. Maybe the heart was telling them something. "Maybe" it was love. 

Back-up Love Interest:  Kai | 19 | EXO

Personality: Kai is described as a model-idol-like due to his strong and y male figure. He may look like very manly and all confident at your first meeting with him. But you soon realize he's cute but likes to be bossy. As he is the main dancer of EXO, he is pretty confident in his dance skills and uses to give others some tips. He was friends with Shinee's Taemin even before his debut and people usually say they look alike. Underneath his breathtaking image, there is a little boy who has got a warm heart and really likes his EXO hyungs. Kai is someone who's persistent, somehow competitive (whether in dance or in playing games) and a guy who has got a neat fashion style: he wears a lot of t-shirts with characters on them. We can say that he's a quite interesting guy who has hidden charms. Kai can be a player in front of girls and be quite flirty with them. He's so natural in his actions that every girls find him cute and sometimes are attracted by him. In general, he's a good friend and an important member in EXO.

Describe your story:  It was 5pm when Dayeon took a break in her dance practise at the huge trainees' room. Then she decided to snack something in SM's bar in the first floor which was 3 floors below the place where she was. Dayeon, getting more and more hungry, runned quickly into the elevator. On the way, Dayeon tripped over a metal box and slumped on the ground. Kai who was coincidentally walking by her room, saw Dayeon lying on the floor and immediately helped to stand her up. But Dayeon couldn't, because the injury was quite serious. Without better choice, Kai caught Dayeon in his arms and went towards the emergency room. Meanwhile,  Dayeon felt comfy and protected in Kai's arms and felt something strange like a sort of attraction for him: with his 182cm and his amazing strengh. She liked how Kai was a gentlemen and had a kind heart towards a mere trainee like her. Dayeon thanked Kai as he asked where she was going. Then she told him she was in her way to eat something, once she had practised to the point she couldn't dance anymore. Kai sayed "Wait a bit" and left the empty room, but within 2 minutes he was back with some chocolate in his hands. "I love chocolate" she said. "People say that when they're hurt the best is to eat a sweet thing" Kai replied. After some talk, Dayeon found that Kai also practised ballet before and he was the master in games. Little by little, she was getting better and finally could stand up properly. "Gomawoyo, sunbae-nim." Dayeon said. "Just call me Kai" he gently answered. Then Kai joked "I didn't knew you were so clumsy." to which she replied "Hmm, you don't know me sunbae." she joked as well, being sassy and bold. Suddenly Dayeon put her foot quietly on his way and Kai almost fell. "Stop laughing, that was not funny." "I think it is..."Dayeon laughed hard. "Just wait there, you'll see" Kai wanted revenge, but Dayeon was already running ahead of him. 

Thenceforth, they became friends but always made fun of each other and competed a lot because of dance. However, as we all know the two have feelings towards each other, but both try to hide them by spending natural friends moments with free skinship (they didn't mind of it, they are totally free to do skinship as a relation of friends *winks*). 

Bestfriends: 

Tiffany | 24 | SNSD | Smiling, persistent but grudging | Like Dayeon, Tifanny had many difficulties in perfecting Korean language, once both are from american countries. However, Tiffany didn't give up and always tried to see the positive in the negative things and the good in the bad things/situations. Dayeon admires her faith and hope and Fany's ever lasting smile to continue her journey as a G.G member. They often fight because of their pink obsession: but Dayeon will never endow her loved pink. Tifanny is her best friend, despite being 4 years older than her. They have some similar points but have also contrasting ones. Initially, the two communicated in English, because Dayeon lacked fluency in Korean; Tifanny helped her a lot, even when Day got sensible and even cried due to her many abcenses whether in singing or in communication. However, Tiffany was not the only one to be the "good tape": Day supported Tiffany when she needed the most and to relieve her stress, she used to cook for her- of course Tiffany loved it. To sum up, they need each other a lot: they are inseparable chingus. 

Suho | 22 | EXO | Umma, polite and a dear | According to his blood type- AB- he may look a bit shy and calm first, but he really is. Being the leader of EXO, he's responsible and very gentle. He may be a bit clumsy but he doesn't hide his mistakes- he just show them off and tries to be humble. Suho can be such a nice guy, always looking for the members and worrying about them. As Suho's favourite song of their mini-album is "Angel/Into your world", in reality, Suho is a total angel. Futhermore, Suho is someone who liked reading, so his ideal type of girl is someone with literary interests. Like the description, Suho likewise treats Dayeon- she is almost like her little sister. When they have free time, the two friends walk by the river Han, once it's also Suho's favourite place. They are very close to each other and share a oppa-dongsaeng relationship.

Rival: Nicole | 22 | Kara | Social, daring and friendly | Dayeon and Nicole compete because their dancing and rap levels. Dayeon can't be won by anyone, specially when it comes to dance and rap skills. Dayeon knows Nicole is her sunbae, but still dislikes her due to her sassy but not charming image and the way she approaches people to get to know them. Dayeon always tries to be humble but everytime Nicole passes by, she just reach her limit. In one word, she pretty much prefers being alone than have "bad" company.
