Something I just found... and translated for you.

A sixteen year old boy asks his father,

"Dad, what are you going to give me on my eighteenth birthday** ?"

His father answers him,

"My son, there's still plenty of time !"

A year goes by and the boy is seventeen years old. One day. his father takes him urgently to the hospital. The doctor says to him,

"Sir, your son has a serious heart condition."

The. boy laying on his bed, asks his father,

"Dad, they say I am going to die...?"

His father starts to cry.

Finally, the boy gets out from the hospital the day he celebrates his eighteenth birthday.

He returns home and finds out that his father left him a letter on his bed that said,

"If you read this letter, it means that everything went alright. Do you remember that day when you asked me about the present I would give you for your 18th birthday ? I gave you my heart. Happy birthday."

**In most european countries you're legally an adult when you reach 18.

18 is truly a big number for teens in Europe... just like 16 and 21 in USA.. we get driving license, we can drink alcohol.. and are considered as adults :) And yeah, this is truly sad but inspiring little story :')
