the newcomer

Background :

kain had a normal life his family, well as normal as one could get within a pack. he had a loving parents that doted on him since he was the youngest and a pain in the older brother that he loved dearly. ever since kain was little, he always had a knack to tell stories well. he had notebooks filled with small stories about anything and everything. he never wrote about his pack, though. the thought did cross his mind but he never write about his family. it was by accident that an editor found kain's work. the editor liked the work and thus sent it to a publishing company and that's how kain's writing career started for him when he was fifteen. it was later that kain had found out that his editor, lee jongsuk, was also a wolf and part of a different pack.

everything for kain was perfectly fine, until the day of the attack. kikwang and he were out on a walk when his pack was attacked. at first, the two stood there shocked beyond all reason until kain started to fight against the hunters. it took a while before their parents noticed that the two boys were there fighting. their mother tried to push the two away from the scene and told them that they needed to run. at first they didn't want to because it was their pack and they couldn't leave their pack in a time of need. it took some time before their mother was able to get her sons away from the fight. when kain and kikwang were some lengths away from the fight, kain turned around to call for his mother but the words were stuck in his throat, he saw a hunter kill his mother.

when the twins were finally away from the massacre, kain broke and kikwang tried to calm the younger boy down. for two days, they were on their own before the same set of hunters found the twins and started to attack them. both boys fought well into the night where they ran but the hunters kept finding them. it was four days after the massacre of their pack when the hunters caught up with them during the night. again both males fought against the hunters and kikwang was seriously injured. his brother forced him to leave and not to look back, which he didn't when he ran. but as he was running, he could hear his brother's howls and the footsteps of a hunter following him. it didn't matter how fast kain kept running, the hunter would always catch up to him. it was the hunter who attacked first. he stabbed the boy in the shoulder and tried to slash him. kain kept the hunter away from him as best as he could until somehow kikwang showed up and helped fight against the hunter by driving him away. that was the last kain saw of kikwang. he did look for his brother but could no longer really move due to the fight and stress on his body. and that was when the caretaker found him...

best friend || do kyungsoo; 20 || human || kyungsoo is a soft-spoken, kind hearted human who loves to baby both kain and kikwang but more of kain. he loves to have his opinion said through kain who he knows will listen. kyungsoo is also the perso who lends an ear when kain wants to talk about something || kyungsoo knows all. since kain and kyungsoo first met when they were kids, he knew that there was something different about the bae's. he found out that they were wovles when he accidently saw kain transform. since then, kyungsoo never said anything about and kept treating him like he did before. he treats kain like everyone one else in his family treated him, like a baby and little child || alive

friend/ editor || lee jongsuk; 25 || wolf || jongsuk is a very much bookish guy and likes to read constantly. everytime kain would see him, there would always be a different book in his hand. the editor treats everyone the same and lives off the saying 'treat others like you would want to be treated'. he thinks that it's the way everyone should be treated || jongsuk likes to tease kain every chance he gets. he teases him since kain is one of the youngest authors out there. but when he isn't teasing kain, he's being another older brother to him. he's always worried that something could happen the happy-go-lucky boy || alive

Personality :

there is always a smile on kain's face and it's never off when he's around everyone else. he's hyper active and always goofing off with anyone who would want to goof off with him. kain loves to make people smile and forget about their worries. he feels like everyone should be happy and content with their lives. when he's around everyone, he's the talker of the group talking about anything and everything that comes to mind. he does notice, though, when no one is listening to him and thus will continue to talk until someone says something. kain likes the attention given to him when he talks but doesn't like to be put in the spotlight very much.

but when kain is by himself, his face and smile crumbles. his stress, pain and whatever emotion he is feeling, rushes toward him like a bag of bricks. he is insecure and questions if he is good enough for the pack. he has good speed but he isn't the best fighter and that's what worries him the most. kain won't utter a word about what he's really feeling and instead will keep it in the inside and hopes that no one will ever find out. it's not that he doesn't want to seem week with his feelings, he just doesn't want to burden anyone with unnecessary worries.

for kain to get mad takes a lot and he doesn't stay mad for long. he grew up staying to his mother's words on how being angry takes too much time and effort, where as smiling and being optimistic doesn't take up that much at. and truth be told, he likes it that way. but he makes it known when he's angry. the talkative boy gives the silent treatment to the person he's mad at for at least a couple of minutes before it passes. although he isn't mad, he'll still ignore the other until he feels fit to talk to them again.

How did you meet him ? :

they met three different times. the first time was when they accidentally bumped into each other and he knocks the other down. he helps the other up and goes off to his class before he becomes late. the second time is when kain is out for a run, once again knocking the other down by accident. the third and final time before they become friends, is at a coffee shoppe on campus where names are finally exchanged and the two are having a conversation with each other and not just saying 'sorry for bumping into you'

What do you think about him ? :

the first two times that he meets the other, he doesn't really know what to think of the other. he's just a person the kain kept bumping into... well okay the cute person that he bumped into. the third time before becoming friends he finds the other somewhat interesting and wanting to learn more about the other. as time goes by, kain gets awfully fond of the other boy and likes to just so that he can see the reactions of the other. but when the other learns about kain, he doesn't know how to feel or how to act around the other without making the other either scared or making a big fool out of himself.

Scene requests : (go crazy, seriously~ ^^)

fight, fight, fight! i would love to see a huge fight between the two || of course the usual fluffy scenes that makes your heart explode || a tearfuly and angsty story about the loss of kain's parents || it's not really about the couple but with the kikwang: the other sees 'kain' and tries to talk to him. it's only later that the other finds out that it wasn't kain ||

Questions/Suggestions :

i really only have one scene suggestion or more of an idea; since kain is a twin and the elder one is missing, how about scenes where kikwang appears and he's perfectly fine and confuses the rest of the pack since they are identical. and a not so happy reunion between the two. since he would be in the rival pack... if that is possible.
