ツ all about park sunyoung.

B A C K S T O R Y

Sunyoung wasn't always your cheerful cherry. Being born in a fortunate, rich family, she could get anything she wanted, a bike, a car, a tree-house (I mean why not?), an expanded room; with just a simple snap of her fingers. Despite the merchandise, Sunyoung never thought she had been permanently happy. Her parents never gave her any sort of affection, not even an 'I love you' and a story before she went to bed. Every kid thought she was lucky; having loads of cash and a pretty, natural face, but no one bothered to spot her actual feelings beneath the stoic, monotone voice and her wide, fake smile. Every teenager in school was only into her money, trying to get on her good side just to get permission on borrowing money. She dreamt of running away plenty of times, but despite her determination, she couldn't accomplish it. Guards could always spot her hiding place in under an hour; no big deal.

On her twentieth birthday, as she sat on the window of her room in a white dress and a flower placed behind her ear, an angel abruptly came up to her with flapping wings and invited her to join her in a journey where everybody could be happy. Intimidated yet excited with the thought of leaving, she accepted the offer, and was quietly taken to a river where no fishes and humans dared to swim in despite the chill, clean liquid. Confused on why she was brought there, she looked around to find the angel and ask; but ended up getting pushed into the river to drown effortlessly and to be sent to a world of secrets.

Sunyoung woke up to the sounds of water clashing around her ears. She sprang up as if she was thrown into a lake of cold water, and was met with the same angel that pushed her into a river without mercy. She looked to the side, and noticed she was laid beside a river that was as similar as the one she was thrown in. Before she was about to hiss and jump at the spirit who attempted to kill her, the angel calmed her and made her check her appearance once again. She thought nothing was different; still comfortable seated inside her birthday dress with the flower in her ear, but then again, something shocked her. White, angelic wings were sprouted out from her shoulder blades, as if it was nothing. By then she knew: she was already dead.

"Think of this as a gift," the angel had purred in a silky voice, sending chills down her spine. "A gift to start a new living all over again, and change your destiny." Days passed by as she was taught how to heal, fly, disappear into thin air, hide her wings without breaking a sweat (though the process always made her wince). She was given the name Luna, and was told she would always wear the same clothes whenever she would morph into angel form.

After Luna had accomplished every mission with the angel within weeks, she was once again, given another gift. Enough money for a living, and something that could accompany her for the rest of her life. In a blink of an eye, the angel had morphed into a white crow, permanently. Luna decided to call her by (name undecided). Soon, she was sent back into Earth, with no one remembering her last existence as it was already wiped out before she was sent to Heaven.

"To me, the river is like a friend. It never speaks a word as you rant, but soothes your pain with the sounds of its song." Luna would always fled to the river whenever she is in trouble. At times, she would go to the same river; the river she was drowned into and brought upon to the new world, to her new fate. It is a soundless place, only the sounds of birds chirping and branches swinging and water moving. You might come across her sitting by a branch of the tree, gazing down her own blurred reflection reflected from the surface of the water as she hums a tune of a song, a song no one could ever predict.

It is also a place that makes her feel safe. As she is prone to excessive injuries, she will always be nearby rivers as it can be the medicine to her scars and bruises. Effortlessly, the clean liquid would be used to heal the injuries on her skin, or not more, someone else's. Her healing techniques could only be used with clean, fresh water, and not polluted ones. Water could also be used as her weapon.

Luna's element is water, and most of her powers (obviously) relate to water. She can manage water manipulation, healing techniques, flight and the act of vanishing into thin air completely.

Her underling is a white crow, which was originally the angel whom taught her water-related techniques and so. It has the ability to sense the presence of other spirits from miles away and attack others (if sensing a bad vibe from him or her) with its claws and beak.
