Haneul can be considered a simple girl when you first look at her, not by the way she dresses but by the way she looks at others. She never really scowls or totally beams a smile, its just a blank face. Haneul is very independant and has been for a long time, she can be considered a mellow person as she will never fight with the other members and will usually walk away when members start fighting because she doesnt want to get involved. Haneul isn't the type to talk to someone first she needs to feel comfortable around them before anything. Once she's comfortable around someone she's really talkative, playful and friendly. Shes very hardworking, when it comes to practice or training she goes all out as if its a real performance. Shes very good with talking to old people and very respectful to them as well. She gets along great with kids and when shes around them she gives off a very motherly vibe.

Background :

Haneul comes from a pretty wealthy family both her parents make a lot of money, in some cases she could be considered rich, although shes not from the gangnam district she is from Itaewon. She grew up around a lot of foreigners. Haneul grew up getting everything she ever wanted when it came to clothes or shopping, however when it came to what she wanted to do as a proffession her parents were strictly against her becoming an idol. Haneul's parents are very strict and still think that performing on stage is a waste of time and Haneul wont go far at all. Because her parenst still have no hopes and still don't support Haneul she stopped talking to them. She started living in the trainee dorm when she was 16 and hardly ever returned home unless she absolutly needed something. When she does talk to her parents it often ends in fighting. Haneul's mom is the only one that has mutual feelings about idol life, haneuls mother sends money to Haneul knowing Haneul would need it sometime, however Haneul hasn't once touched the money her parents sent her, she keeps it in a box and is waiting until they accept her dreams, when they do she's going to return it to them to prove that she can get by on her own.

Haneul has had dreams of being an idol since she was 11 after watching videos of Beyonce perform live on a youtube video. After that she started searching for Korean artist and found DBSK's Triangle feat. BoA live. Since then she really looked up to BoA as a dancer, and was actually thankful that her parents put her through Ballete classes when she was9. Haneuls parents thought it was neccassary for Haneul to learn things like ballete so they put her in it when she was 9, Haneul took classes up until she was 14 when she suddenly switched into hip hop and modern style dances, without her parents knowledge. Aside from her dreams of being an idol Haneul was the type to do good in school, she got good grades, she participated in sports, however in high school she was a troublesome student to her teachers and often skipped class.

Bestfriend : Kim Minseok| Its true these two are close and have been since they met as trainees. Being older Xiumin often treated Haneul to meals and took really good care of her. Past Scandal: Haneul was a bully in high school, but she admited that she never bullied anyone. she said "I never once bullied anyone. Ill admit i got into a fight though but it wasnt my fault and i didnt start it. A friend of mine got into a fight with another girl so when i went to stop it i got punched in the face....I just kind of got pissed and hit the girl a few times....she didnt come to school the next day though"
Past Scandal: Haneul was a in high school. Haneul denied the rumors of sleeping around saying theres no way she could have because she had no free time with training and studying, And shes only dated twice since high school.
Future Scandal: When EXO's Xiumin reveals he's close with Haneul and has been since their trainee days rumors fly around the internet assuming the two had dated prior to debut. It doesn't help that there are a lot of fancams and pictures of the two either standing together, looking at one another, or posing cutely together.

Jin on the other hand will use agyeo on Haneul to annoy her. When hes in a playful mood he really likes teasing her and messing with her. Haneul is really simple she doesn't really expect a lot from Jin and doesn't mind if they do nothing but just watch movies for valentines day while eating a bunch of chocolates they bought themselves. When they're in public or with their members around the company they aren't really lovey dovey they may hold hands every now and then, or Jin may occasionally have his arms around her. During a day off Haneul takes Bokshiri out on a walk and they end up going to BTS dorm. While they're there Jin is playing with Bokshiri and being cute with the puppy but it makes Haneul jealous.
Haneul and Jin to plan to go on a date but he stands her up, and when she goes out for a walk she sees him hugging another girl. However that other girl was just a friend from school who broke up with her boyfriend earlier that day and Jin just so happened to see her as well. When he got to the company he was wondering why Haneul kept ignoring her and tried apologizing thinking it was because he couldn't go on their date, but she just ignores him. Later Namjoo tells Jin that Haneul's upset because she saw Jin hugging another girl. He tries apologizing but she keeps ignoring him. Finally he goes to her dorm to apologize but its the maknae who opens the door, she like the other members were mad at Jin so the maknae just slammed the door on Jin but she didn't realize he was so close to the door until she heard a yelp on the other side. When she opened the door Jin was holding onto the door frame with one hand while hunched over and holding his bleeding nose with the other hand. Haneul comes out to see what happened and scolds the maknae for hurting Jin. Haneul takes Jin to the bathroom to clean him up. And thats where he apologizes for the misunderstandings.
After a stage at Inkigayo Jin tries to walk over to Haneul but Xiumin beats him to it and walks Haneul off stage, Jin gets jealous and pissed when he sees Xiumin place his hands on her lower back.
While they're backstage in the waiting rooms Jin says he wants to talk to Haneul for a minute before the girls leave to go home to the dorm. He takes her to the fire escape stairwell and straight up tells her. "Im jealous of Xiumin, i know you guys are best friends but why is he touching you like that?" Haneul apologizes and says he doesnt have to worry about Xiumin because she would never like him enough to want to be in a relationship. Jin says "I have to worry because im you're boyfriend!" a bit to loudly but they didnt notice. Luna who was taking a short cut down to the parking lot heard them, and when she peeked over the railing saw the two.
BTS and BulletProof to film a show together and for a contest the girls are paired with one of the boys at random. Haneul gets paired with V, they have to eat 3 oranges and 3 plums. Since V doesn't like Plums he quickly says he'll eat the oranges and leaves Haneul to the plums. Jin smacks V in the back of the head and scolds him saying "Haneul can't eat plums, shes allergic to them" so in the end Jin eats the plums for Haneul even though he really hates plums
At a music show Jin waits in BulletProofs waiting room sitting and talking with Haneul, but she isn't really paying attention because shes too busy blowing bubbles with her bubble gum. As she blows her next bubble he kisses her and pops the bubble. Bubble Gum Kiss:)

As a child she played various sports aside from Dancing. Haneul was part of the schools track team from Middle school all the way to her 2nd year of high school. She also took tumbling classes during the summer.
Haneul got her first tattoo when she was 18 and visited her brother who lives in China.
The injury that kept Haneul from debuting was to her hip. Haneul had fallen and dislocated her hip during tumbling classes when she was 16right before F(x) debuted. She had to take a whole year off before she could start dancing again. Her hip doesnt bother her unless she falls on it.
Haneul has weak bones that easily break so she has to be careful when she falls or steps on her ankles wrong. Her bones/joints always crack/pop [like cracking knuckles] when she stretches or first wakes up, but its normal.

Trainee Life : Haneul became a trainee under sm in 2008 when she was 15 as a trainee she was never really picked on and didnt really find it hard, she got through tough training with the mindset "It's not hard, im only making myself better". Haneul trained SM for 1 year before being set up on the lineup for F(x) due to an injury Haneul didnt make the cut and had to stop training for a whole year. She returned as a trainee in 2010 and trained for another year before her contract expired, she was transfered to Bighit after that and trained for another 2 years making her total training count 4 years. At bighit she can admit the training and trainees were a lot nicer to her, but a lot ignored her or found her intimidating at first because Haneul was a former SM trainee, and one of the popular ones at that, as well as a former lineup member for F(x).

Haneul goes on running man and her group is Lee Jongsuk, Yoon Doojoon, Ok Taecyeon, Lee Joon, L, and Eunhyuk. since usually the teams are 6 boys and 1 girl. During the challanges Haneul declares her cousin Jihyo as her rival.
Haneul has to run the 70m in the semi-finals for the female division at Idol Athletic Championship, when she gets to around 55m she ends up tripping over her own feet and landing on the ground hard but to avoid falling on her head she fell in a way that made her fall on her bad hip. She didnt stand up at first because her hip hurt but when she did try to stand up she couldnt get up fully, and needed the help from her team mates to take her off the track. Haneul ended up having to sit out for the rest of the championships, when she went to the doctor after they told her she had bruised the bone so for a few days Haneul can't perform or practice, she can go on shows as long as shes walking with crutches and avoids sitting with a majority of her weight on the hip, meaning she has to kinda sit leaning on her right hip.
